Uptown Brown was potent but it wasn't exceptional by any means. I went as far as to make F2's even but I doubt they will ever be grown.

I grew uptown brown too, and completely agree. I had one that was quite strong, and had the "floor falling out from under you" effect, which I absolutely loved, but the rest were nothing special. Got you high, but not amazingly so. Smells weren't really frankincense, but were unique. I crossed it with a strange, alcoholic, gin smelling sativa that came from Brazil, and the offspring are dy-no-mite, but that's mostly from the Brazilian.

kc Brains swears by his Brazilian sativas, he gave some to Shantibaba and Shanti used them to make white widow/black widow. I grew the bahia blackhead(Brazil sativa) and that convinced me to try more sativas in 2013.

Yeah it was a really good one. It actually came from an old friend from high school that got some seeds from a friend who lives in Brazil, and gave me 5 seeds. Only one sprouted, and it was very special.
best bud I ever smoked was called ‘church’ and smelled like this. Sometime around 1997,98 or so. fire.

Piff is called church sometimes because of the incense smell, resembling the smell of the inside of a church.

JJ had the black haze from ash1er back in 2011 and lost it pretty soon after. I gave him a cut of mine at the nyc genetraders in early 2021. The deal was that he would label his first drop with it as a collab with me but I guess that didn’t happen. This is the first I’m seeing he dropped seeds with it. Oh well.

This why some people start holding back an wont give certain things out. Dont wory man. Almost every one knows he got that from you. Just a tip for the future cus I know your a cool cat. In the seed game when giving a parent cutting to another breeder always make them give you one of their parental cuttings in return. Things are getting tough out ther, way way too much competition. Its only going to get worse with the way things are going.

It’s all good man. Can’t sweat the small stuff. I have so many different haze cuts that honestly rival the black or better. I’m at the point I’m way beyond it. Plus pcg ended up selling cuts in Cali for 20 bucks so it’s out there. Other breeders just gonna have to try and keep up!
