It’s all good man. Can’t sweat the small stuff. I have so many different haze cuts that honestly rival the black or better. I’m at the point I’m way beyond it. Plus pcg ended up selling cuts in Cali for 20 bucks so it’s out there. Other breeders just gonna have to try and keep up!
I heard pcg isn't such a good spot for cuts anyway. I don't grow other peoples clones tho so i got your piff s2.
You got your own thread now man why you in this one?

kc Brains swears by his Brazilian sativas, he gave some to Shantibaba and Shanti used them to make white widow/black widow. I grew the bahia blackhead(Brazil sativa) and that convinced me to try more sativas in 2013.
Yeah man The brazillian really puts out roots and passes it on to its progeny is why he likes it i think and speaking of anyone ever compared the frankincensey phenos in his haze special vs the piff i know there different but somewhat related cos the old nh used in it i would think?

The true Neville's haze that nevil used to make himself most plants used to have that crazy haze smell. It was easy to find frankincense or sandalwood types in the original, certainly wouldn't take 20 years of hunting through like other breeders versions. Just a single pack of ten would find you keepers. I think KC still use the 97nh version. He has some really good Brazilians too. Has the bhaia, pernambuco gold, mango vermelo an I think what they call brazilian green an probably others too seeing as he is of Brazilian heritage an has been collecting seed stock for a long time. Some of his stuff is really good. I remember when he first put out his Brazilian kc the plants would come out as jungle sativa that would flower on an on for like 25 weeks an still keep going. Some very interesting things at kc, I just wish he would release some pure sativas even if they were hybrids..but pure jungle sativas. Some of the landraces he uses seem to be in their old pure original forms an not contaminated like a lot of stuff found in recent times.

Yeah he is old school 0 hype as well just seems to be little reports on that haze strain so i wondered from what i hear he is still using his old parental stock it aint changed he proly one of the last dutch based breeders left who hasnt lost much of his stock after all these years tbh cos most banks lost at least a few be it busts accidentally or whatever it would be cool to see more of his pure lines released i agree there

Post up, show your seeds and plants you have together or at least the seeds together.

You have never heard a single soul claim anything how, these are recent release from Top Dawg.

"Didn't you just get your first pair of topdawg seeds less than a month ago"

But do post the seed packs and started gear from him. Post it here, aint nothing like starting a pack today.

I saw your recent comments in the topdawg thread Interesting. You really don't have the experience growing at all.

Lastly People You know from that era would have to be growers, so unless you know 100's of growers and people from Nyc specifically, it will happen 0.99999% of chance.

Actually Lastly: Do you think you would have access anywhere near JJ nyc has to genetics or connections, him being a native to the growing scene? Perhaps if you did you'd be making seeds.
And what are these genetics? What is the origin of the first authentic Haze with which it started?
At the moment, from the photos I see, it seems all different commercial phenotypes of something like Super Silver Haze or Nl5XHaze, "9 weeks' Haze"...

I think the piff got nl in it so aint pure haze but it is clearly a early nl5 haze or nevils haze pheno imo others can chime in if they know better of course?

Nevile Haze?!?.... The photos I see here are of the typical Dutch Nl5 x Haze hybrid, and of the more commercial and less sativa phenotypes....

One thing i always did wonder if the original piff is held by dominicans then why is it also called cuban black haze or are these two similiar but a lil different or the same under different names?
I thought about that too....but then thought being it comes from Florida, the dominicans may have been getting it from a Cuban connect and it may originate with the Cubans in FL.

This strain has always been a mystery....im just glad its back.

The first generation ones were way way more sativa. I think what they call the great 80's cutting is still about, goes about 20 plus weeks an is actually a first generation nl5 haze made with a first generation haze plant.

Thanks for your clarifications.... I guess you were referring more to the late '80s (when the Nl5 x Haze arrived in the USA?). Are there any pictures of those first generations? That big 8o's cutt with more than 20 weeks of flowering was also sold at that time? And if so...where was it grown? Outdoors in Florida and then shipped to New York? Or indoors in Spanish Harlem or Bronx? And what about the Haze used in the original cross: how many weeks of flowering did it need to cross it with a 12-14 week old plant and still need more than 20 weeks?

When I get the phenotype I'm looking for in Golden Tiger, I'll give you a cutting for free if you really do live near NYC. Compare it to whatever Piff you grow, I'd be interested in seeing what you think. This is gonna ready/tested by mid-may before I know for sure.
The feno Thai ? Be careful if after smoking it, he will end up giving merengue dancing lessons to the Dominicans ....
The bad thing: they would end up copying it and reselling it as "La Haze del Spanish Brox", or something like that, heh...

Piff isnt anything like the pheno I'm looking for, zero funk, sweet and spicy like a Thai. The effects are from the malawi parent, what my friends told me "cocaine", I've never done coke or Adderall but that's what they thought I laced it with. Everyone I smoked this particular plant with thought it was laced.
That is the pheno Thai (the euphoric/exciting one). The Malawi is more bodily.

That whole fruit, but not knowing which one - that is exactly how my Romulan smells and I have ascertained this is from the White Rhino influence... Rhino smells exactly like that, and widow also I think.

I remember church going around in 1999... dont know if it was greenhouse, the buds were kind of small... i remember that

Piff is part cuban haze. NY Piff from strainly has Albany Piff and he lives near me... i think i have some of his stuff coming my way. NYC has always had a solid menu, Sour D, Haze and various Indica strain were around 10-15 years ago. Around then upstate we were getting White Rhino and Trainwreck, from Long Island. I don't know what's going around now down there, have heard jack herer is big, but I bet its a lot more diversified and current... but haze and sour d are still likely big sellers.
