don't have a proper meter to give actual watt draw but its range is posted on the label in picture above. I shot vic an email over at gotham and he said its the 6 band spectrum blackstar has been using but its the lens that really make the difference and increase penatration.

and as i stated before i didn't pay full price for the chrome since it was part of a swap with my 180w blackstar that had problems i'm not sure if they have even listed the price yet but guys at shop hinted the 4 spot model would be around $350

? you lost me... it sells for $280 on Ebay (Gotham Hydro store) and for $280 on the Gotham Hydro website. I do see that it is listed for $390 on the Lighthouse Hydro website. Why anyone would ever buy a Blackstar from the Lighthouse Hydro website is beyond me... ???

This last picture was just to show how the light intensity is spread, The light is 32 inches from the wall and the tape measure is 6ft from top to bottom of tape measure itself

Nice Light........looks like their using 60degree secondary lenses by the spread......i dunno who started that trend but i don't like the degree or secondary lenses(coverage for the $$$ isn't good IMO)...

Hey bro it's going good both lights are kicking ass right now but I feel like the solar storm has a slight advantage Over the day star: solar storm has a 10 gallon airpot with bioterra soil and biocanna nutes and is thriving like crazy!!! And the day star has a 10 gallon round pot with peat perlite lime mix using biocanna nutes and is doing as comparable! But also when I was setting up the day star it slipped and landed on the plant and split it right down the middle of all 4 branches I tied her up and duct taped her and honestly she hasn't shown any sign of a struggle an just keeps thriving which is a good sign as far as the Light goes. But I want to do same pot same medium same nutes same age before I start recording numbers ya know.

For sure. Thanks for the update, glad to hear they are both working out for you! Sounds like it was a close call but you saved her. Biocanna nutes, nice, gotta love canna. I run canna too, never bio but definitely interested in trying it some day. Are they ladies flowering yet or still vegging? Good luck & happy growing!

Sorry, never done a scrog and don't know of any good links for you. But I do love canna! I fun the reg line in straight canna coco, a+b rhizo cannazym boost and pk13/14, supplementing with great white mycos, magical, and foliar with magic green during veg. Just recently started to foliar feed with the boost. Gonna look into if I can use the bio line in coco.

its from a company space jams leds there to be launched this year, Im doing a growers feed back program for the owner now which he chose a few people to do so. He wants to make sure his lights are performing better then whats out there before he lanches them. in my opinion its pretty damn close to do soing so! Its a full white spectrum led I sunlight is the only other company ive seen with full white spectrum but there prices are crazy! I bought the 900 full white for 1050.00 on a grower feed back program. i dont know if hes offering it anymore i can ask?

magical is that a technaflora product? how are you applying that? the boost is crazy for a foliar feed the plants love it!! i think you can but the bio line does best in bioterra soil which will be available in march from what im hereing. out of all my plants thats the happiest one! under the solar storm btw. I cant wait to get a bioterra in a 10 gall airpot under the day star!

Yeah magical is the technaflora version of cal/mag. Going to have to look intothe bio line of canna. If I can use it with coco or at least just the bio boost, I think I might try it out next time. How far along in your grow are you?

I'm about 3 months into veg. The taste from the bio line is support to be outa this world. But yield suffers a lil from what I've been told. Well see though!

Well honestly led growing has evoluved and grown in such a small time. they give great results in veg, but in flower they are still missing a little juice. I believe in the next 5 years they will have it keyed in on how to make led's out perform. They most likely have it but it isnt out to the public just yet
