Can you rotate the light so the ends point at the door? This way the two sides will always be reflecting the long side of the strip, even when you open the door/flap

Yeah, I wanted to rotate it around anyways because my potentiometer is in the back haha. I'm waiting on some extra rope ratchets before I can do it though. My fan is in the way so I need longer hangers.

You could probably get twice as much weed from the same wattage if you would use latest COB's or strips.
There are a good few how-to's here and on youtube showing you how to convert such a Vipar blurple into a white COB unit using the build in drivers. You need only a few COB's(2 Citi1212 or 1 Vero29c per driver) and you can continue to use the heatsink, drivers, and chassis.

I can do the plumbing on a 65 story high rise but all of this light building stuff is like a different language.

It's actually quite easy, and you can get a 5pack Citi1212 for 50$. This is only one of several how-to vids, but it explains noob friendly how to do it. If you follow the instructions carefully you need You do not need more than what you learned about electronics in school. Trust me, a child could do it!

Nah man I'm just trying to put my fellow led users onto this site. It's just like the offer up app. Shit I still can't believe this recent haul that I came up on. I still have to pinch myself to make sure it's real lol. I only spent $120 for all this stuff!!!!!

I came up on a Platinum Led P450 ($540), Method 7 glasses ($90), a 200w cfl bulb w/ pendant style cord, taotronics led lamp, 5 cbd seeds attached to a cellphone cover, and a bunch of extras (ratchet hangers, carbon filter cords, pendant style cords, light socket splitters, etc.)

Funny thing is when I came across the sale it had been up for 9 days already and only advertised the light. I was sure that someone had snatched it up already but when I inquired the guy said it was still available. When I bought it the guy threw in all the extra stuff. I couldn't believe it and still don't. I keep expecting the light to blow up at any second lol. But it is actually brand spanking new!

Oh I forgot to mention that I just finished my first mini grow. She's a little beauty. I'm expecting to harvest around 2 1/2 maybe even 3 full sized bowls when chopped & dried. I'll post pics soon.....

Okay, boyz 'n gals! It's time to present my current light cause it's ready to use!
I first thought I should create an own thread but decided against. I can not show any plants anyway so this thread is the best place. If anyone have questions feel free to ask what you want.
It consists of 20x 2ft. F-Series strips/3000°K/CRI80 in 10s2p to one HLG-240H-C1050B and 8x Blux V18c COB's in 3000°K/CRI90 to a HLG-120H-C500B, approximately 400w net., 440w total.Strips, COB's + UVB.jpg Flower-Trigger in action.jpg right view.jpg The new one in action.jpg left view.jpg 39w UVB-Tube in action.jpg Finally ready to test...jpg Yeah, it's a spyder.png Than I've added a 39w UV-A/B reptile T5HO tube and a 730nm Flower-Trigger, consisting of 6x Cree XP-E's on a 5w driver. Main light, UVB tube and flower trigger are all connected via Sonoff timers and controlled via ewelink app. Currently I run some stability tests and if all works as expected I will sell it to a friend who's already waiting.

Thanks for enjoying the humor CW. I was for sure that someone was gonna be a butthole and assume that it was a stunted auto or something. This was a piece from a 100% sativa landrace strain (hence the foxtailing). Thought I'd throw it in a shot glass with some soil and fluff it out a bit. All in the name of fun :0)

Yeah I figured it was something along those lines. The structure was perfect for the ruse!!
