Lets Get Growing

The only way I would see it being worth it next time would be if I took the clones from REAL early on, and by the time it was ready for " cloning " I would have an idea what sex it is. Other than that I'm tired of wasting my time.

i hear that...... i want to do it right the first time but with learning somthing new its always trial and error ........ but we are alll learning how to do it better for the next time around.......thats what i keep telling my self this is just the school grow next time ill have it down i hope you can always learn somthing new thoe


I am going to use a 400 wat hps for the flower room.... i know i went from a 600 mh to a 400hps...... oh well with the temp problems im having a 1000 would be even more of a problem.......does it matter if i go from 600 to 400 ......... i noticed that alot go smaller in the veg room then bigger in the flower ....

Are you using cooltubes??? that will solve your temp probs

yea i know but i already got my lights before i heard about those plus there probley a little out of my budget.... i already spent 450 on my light setups

i was trying to make my light into a cool tube they have intake on one side of the light or are they both out take air .... i have my pc fan with ducing right next to my light and i changed it now but at one time i had one of my intake duccing tubes going to the other side of the light

im just checking what it would be like when the lights are off durning the day to see what its going to be in the flower room.... i have my intake air and outake air and two fans going and it was 82 temp and 28 humidity and shit thats with the lights off grrrr............

oh well low humiditys good for more sticky nugs and the temps fine now that i got some co2 going in there well its just a 2 litter bottel but shit it will work for now.

They suck air from outside the room directly around the bulb and outside the room so the heat from the bulb does hardly anything to the temp in the room.

awww still having problems with the temp in the flower room grrrr ..... and no money tell next week grrrrrrr im going to buy a big fan for my outtake air instead of the just the pc fan.... then hook up the intake ducking back to the one side of the light and the new fan with ducking to the outake air ..... im just not to sure witch fan to get i dont want a canfan there to loud and i dont want to build another box i dont have that much room for two of those...... i had a nice silent one that was all made out of plastic it didnt pull that much air so i got the canfan.... but it might work for the outake....... i just dont want a loud one and i dont much money....any ideas of fans i should look into .....im going to check out what my local hydro shop has if i can get off work before they close

oh yea my mothers dam getting big almost out growing the veg room already grrr should have topped it earlier the bottom stems have almost reached the top and dam they are a plant in there self i need to trim it im looking for trimming threads

I use this and a cool tube through and through the grow space. No heat probs in a small inclosed space. $30 homedepot

do they pull good air ??? i heard they didnt work that well its just like a pc fan ? or do you think it pulls alot ??

Im doing a 10 foot run with a 6inch for my cooltube. I can touch the glass of the cooltube without burning myself...so it works and is quiet when hung with a bungee cord.

alright i will try one does it have a plug or do you have to wire it in .... im guessing you got it in the heating and ducing area at home depot......i need to get to home depot so i will check it out.......... i was thinking i could by some glass or pleckzy glass and convert my light into a cool tube ......do you think the pleckzy glass would burn or melt ????

I'd go with real glass.

I agree with JBtreed. Glass wont melt. you do have to wire the fan but just get a cheap extention cord and a couple marrets. Cut the female end off the cord and splice it to the fan. its like hooking up speakers

Well Hulk you must of wired up your PC fan like that right? Those are normally 12v, what did you just use a charger for it?

yep 120v and use like .35 amps. No adapter or charger needed

naw, I meant the PC fans.

the pc fans are 12v hooked up to a 12v 600ma dc plug................grrrrrr bugscreeen where do you live .... i went to two homedepots they dont carrey that kind of duc fan anymore grrrr im going to check more but grrr that sucks

Hmmm... I live near a Homedepot in Canada you can get from homedepots web site or otheronline retailers. sometime harwarestores will carry em

Hmmm just was looking at my plants today and saw some leaves had burn or nut burn or somthing i am not to sure yet..... check it out its wierd thoe its not on the top leaves its on just a middle set
