What’s going on here ?

Don’t mind the white spots are diatomaceous earth

a bit about the grow
Hey guys, so I’ve recently transplanted into soil. I’m using FFOF and mixed with Gaia green living soil . I’ve added slight EWC and a bit of perlite and about a cup or half cup of azomite and about a cup of oyster shell flour. so 2 bags ffof and one bag Gaia green and one cup of the above mentioned. I didn’t let the soil “cook” after adding oyster shell and azomite.

anyway my question is here is my plants don’t mind the white spots it’s just diatomaceous earth..

does anyone know what these brown spots are ? Am i in a PH lockout somehow ?

all I’ve been doing is water long and every now and then foliage feed with remo magnifical and IPM sprays here n there with peppermint oil or lemongrass oil

also got some mint chives and basil going in the tent

Why the hell have you got DE all over the plants. If you have a gnat issue then your roots might be the issue.

I woukd bet ph.... whats the ph of your water?

I’m doing a slurry test now, usually use tap water and use this sodium bicarbonate until the PH a drops are yellowish. You saying that made me remember soil needs a higher PH around 6.5 rather than 6. But this living soil and added oyster shell should adjust the PH already no? I can add dolomote lime to the soil if need but it should already be in there. As for the DE any negative effects of having so much? using it for bugs had a spider mite problem last grow
