Light cycle for autoflowering budding

I know autoflowering strains dont need a certain amount of light in order to begin to flower. But what is the optimal light cycle once they start flowering. Should i give em 24/0 or is some darkness needed for better bud quality/yield?

I'm starting to grow auto flowering as well. I'm a beginner with growing bud, but I have a lot of gardening experience. No matter what plant it is, it is not good for there to be no dark cycle even how short it may be. Most say 18+ hours is ideal. I'd say 20 hours of light 4 hours of darkness. In the end it shouldn't make a significant difference but I recommend a dark period.

Good luck man.

I have never grown an auto, but I do know they flower based on age and not light cycle. So I would think you could do 24 hours, and that would maximize yield.

Hey I had a question. How do you know when to switch the light cycle? Do you even need to? Or what's the best for a non auto flowering plant

Autoflowers can be 24/0 for max yeild....if they're true autos, flowering doesn't need triggering.....if they're not autos....then they're not autos.....

they seem to be ok outdoor autoflowering, but indoor some autos need continuous 12/12. so if your having trouble try this
