Im planning to grow in a pc soon, the strain is automatic and im unsure about lighting. Ive learnt that it should be 18/6 for the light on/off. But in regards to the bulb, should i just use as strong as i can?

Lowryder is a great auto strain to grow.....I veg my lowryders at 24/0 for a month under t5.....then move to 20/4 under 400w hps or 1000w hps.....they'll thicken up nicely with the correct saturation of light.....with a pc, you're probably limited to a t5 which will do ok.....just get as powereful as will fit......
 
My largest Lowryder 2 was 20g dry....in a gal pot of MG Organic...........most of the time, I'd get at least a 1/4....that being said, I usually do 12/12 under 400w hps after a month under 24/0 t5....I just have no need to have large yeilds as I only grow for myself.....and a little goes a looooonnnng way in a vape........
 
Thanks for all the replies. Ye, i would be growing the lowryder 2 seeing as it seems the shortest out of them for the best yield. And i would be chuffed with anything over 5 grams so :)

With lowryder #2 you'll most likely get a yield over 5 grams. I don't know your skill level or your set up, but it's pretty easy to get around 14grams. I've seen some harvest over an ounce from the #2.

Wow that's it. I figured you could at least get an ounce out of it.
I haven't grown it, but I plan on ordering some Lowryder 2 seeds sometime soon.

You should check out the journals on here. It all depends on the setup, the grower, etc. Don't let it discourage you from trying it.
 
Yes I still plan to and others also.
I'm really interested in these "autoflowering" plants. I've only recently discovered them when I ordered some WW seeds.
Have you tried any other strains. What would you consider the top of the autoflowering strains?
Say I when I get those Lowryder seeds. Could I cross them with WW and a have dwarf WW/LR F1?
 
I'm also interested in a great tasting auto that produces a yield of atleast 20+grams per plant dried.
 
@ Zootime

all autos could produce 20+ grams per plant under average conditions. Under good conditions you're looking at 60+ grams. Lowryder x AK47 is a good yielder though.
