Lucid dreaming and the astral world/astral projection/entities you meet/expierience

Prophetic dreams man. I had one were I dreamed my friend came over to chill and he asked for a smoke, he woke me up from that dream by knocking on my window and asking for a smoke. The drummer of Weezer tweeted "Had a dream where I died in my sleep from a heart attack"... The very next week he died in his sleep from a heart attack. The dream world is more real then we think, no lucid dreamer can control the light in their dream yet when some people smoked DMT they seen an angelic being twisting a dial, controlling the light of their surroundings.

Besides the fact I didn't hit anyone else and suffered only shock, a bad back and whiplash I was amazingly calm during the crash, I remember it crystal clear. I think that is normal though, it's a sense that there is nothing to be done plus I'm not afraid of death like most. But of course the wtf factor is I fucking dreamed my accident years before it happened!

Well, this is why I'm in the middle. I practice. I experience. I just can't say the lingo anymore. But, I don't reject anything.

The latest in Causality studies, is the entire concept is located solely in what we call macro-Reality. We, our minds eye, provides Causality. In fact, if there is one thing that can't be proved to my level of understanding, it is this. Since the Mind creates the macro-Reality, it is Causing it to occur in a preciptble way. Preception is Conception. And many of particle physics guys are beginning to understand that they are not de-constructing Atoms, ie, smashing them. They are creating particles out of energy fields and thus Causing the particles to exist.

So, the mind is not material and so not subject to Time. The Mind causes Time to exist. It is to me, having experienced pre-cognition enough to count on it, it's my own Self surfacing what IT can see beyond the macro.

But, Self or Super-Consciousness is not even considered by most. it's mis-labeled the sub-conscious and is related to base desires and fears, etc. Maybe so. But there is the Super one also, in my experience.

For most, it's either the acceptance or denial of Religion. That's as far as many can grasp, and rightly so.

And Chief, I will get to that video I hope it'll help me catch up with you all :bigjoint: I was raised in a strict catholic family, so my early years of fascination with such matters is also quite intriguing to me... I can't say it is from pure rebellion because lots of catholic girls rebel lol but would consider me a good candidate for the rubber room if I spoke of such! When I was a lot younger and dumber a woman I worked with called me a young soul, which really really bothered me a lot more than my mind at the time should have cared... could I really be an old soul that was trapped in an unusually ignorant and strict family environment that was stifling me? I ask because what I called deja vu throughout my life happened well throughout my life and until the dream got brushed off in my mind as false memories.

Is the stuff in Delsym the same as DMT? ended up literally hugging the floor, not fun trying that shit!

No no no no ... that's DXM (dextromethorphan). DMT (N,N-dimethyltryptamine) is a true psychedelic ... on and off again in ten minutes. Oral DXM is on after a couple of hours, there for half a day, and it tails well into the third day.
But i have had properly mystical experiences on DXM. cn

read on a bodybuilding site that if you take a lot of zink it would put your body into a deep dream like state while sleeping....

so i tried it and it worked , most vivid dreams i have every had .. more like nightmers.. but it was sooooo fucking real, and scary
 
I know we get tired of arguing, so this site suggests there is no proved DMT production and the Dream State,.

I think he is merely asking if these conjectures regarding dreaming and NDE have actually any empirical evidence beyond the similarities that have been proposed. AFAIK, the actual function of the pineal gland is only partially known and a great number of the claims of people like Graham Hancock are purely speculative and are not backed by real science.
 
Well, I can't find anything but the baldest speculation. Not a shred of evidence that it even is produced. No theory on how it could be or why it would be. There is only stories of DMT-heads that have heard about NDE, comparing their DMT experience.

Dr. Rick Strassman, while conducting research on the psychedelic dimethyltryptamine (DMT) in the 1990s at the University of New Mexico, advanced the controversial hypothesis that a massive release of DMT from the pineal gland.....

Basing his reasoning on his belief that all the enzymatic material needed to produce DMT is found in the pineal gland (see evidence in mammals), and moreover in substantially greater concentrations than in any other part of the body, Strassman ([SUP][27][/SUP] p. 69) has speculated that DMT is made in the pineal gland.

But hepheastus,there is a connection between dreams and the reality, because in lucid dreams you can sometimes go like to your friend's house and you'll see what he is doing, and the next day you can ask him if he did that sometime recenltly and it's ususally right.



And chief, yes I do believe that we're stronger because we have a physical body, but the fear and emotions can feed the entities, so it depends on how many strong emotions you have.

Old haggs syndrome. Check it out. Happened to me as a teenager a lot. Fuckin shadow would whisper to me and I'd awaken in full sleep paralysis. Sometimes it hovering/standing on my chest or leaking through a corner in the ceiling. I'd always be frozen and goose bumpy. Just weird creepy shit. Almost feel it now as I type this. Haha.

Some say it is an alien abduction, others say a demonic entity.

What is up with the entities? Do you think your brain is just projecting fear in its raw state, showing it as unknown.. Dark.. Aliens? Whatever you are scared of?

Sleep paralysis has happened to me a handful of times, always when I was trying to lucid dream. When I was way younger, I used to be most scared of robbers, murderers... It was my second sleep paralysis experience, all that happened was I heard my mom getting murdered by my step dad. I was getting pains in my gut as if a family member of mine was dying.. Couldn't move, feel breathing...

The second time I got stung by a bee in the same day, and I had an allergic reaction to it. Well when I went to bed I woke up in the middle of the night to a bee flying around my room taunting me, soon going under my pillow.. Yet again couldn't move..

Recently I had one that wasn't scary at all. Yet I was terrified. There was a Poseidon bent over my desk, and a big flat screen TV in front of my door.. What could that mean??

Those are the only experiences Ive had as far as sleep paralysis goes.

What the hell are the entities?
 
I have only astral projected once. It happened when I was extremely ill laying in bed while my cat crystal was sleeping in my lap. I felt the vibrations and I was floating over my physical body staring at my sleeping cat.

My interpretation of these entities is, hallucinations, derived from an indoctrinated fear of the undead/ghouls/ghosts... but as anything, i cannot be entirely certain.

The interesting thing to note is that the entity changes with pop culture. People used to see what they called Sea Haags, ugly old women holding them down on their bed. In more religious areas and times people saw demons or succubi. It wasn't until the 50's when alien's entered pop culture that people started reporting aliens at the foot of their bed. Isn't is odd that the Sea Haags don't come around anymore, or that the aliens decided not to mess around until Hollywood made them famous?
 
Thats my interpretation of most spiritual things.. Not ALL, and like you said I really don't know.. I feel like a lot of things are built into biology, NDE's may just be a release of molecules, designed to make you see a new meaning in life, to fulfill your biological purpose.

Also the whole 'feeling' peoples energy around you, maybe death is just rapidly deteriorating your senses, leaving only the last strings of consciousness making you feel everything around you as opposed to seeing it. It is how some animals get around..

I wanna believe in spirituality, and I do, for the most part. But there is a part of me that just feels like we are as pointless as a piece of dirt, no afterlife, just the miracle of this. Of course even if the answer was in front of a humans face, they wouldn't be able to comprehend it...

What do you think about afterlife, strife?
