Long weekend of lots of gigs and busking, and I'm exhausted. I felt my body trying to get sick last night, but I got extra sleep and believe I beat it. I'm still a feeling a bit funky, so I think I'll sleep late and take it easy today. The only thing I really have to do is put some newly rooted clones in cups of perlite. The highway outside my window is already packing up, SO glad I don't have to participate in that crap anymore. What do you have planned this Monday???
 
Fuck. Talk about Manic Monday. I almost went to sleep when I heard about the worst mass shooting in US history this morning in Las Vegas - some crazy fuck in a room in Mandalay Bay on the 32 floor opened fire with automatic weapons on concert goers on the strip. 50 dead so far and over 200 injured. Cops killed the fucker but so what? The damage is already done. That is fucking depressing, maybe I won't even get out of bed today...

Tragic, if not utterly predictable. The gun control argument ended when nothing resulted from the murder of children at Sandy Hook. Fucked-up state of affairs.

I had a nice, quiet xmas with the family with more great food at my sister's new condo. First xmas without mom, it was strange. We got about 4 inches of snow xmas eve, that was nice to make it a white xmas without being a total pita. It's gonna be fucking COLD this week, single digits and teens, so I'm glad I did a bunch of grocery shopping a couple days ago 'cause I ain't going out there. I'm gonna sleep late, then leisurely clean this place whilst nicely baked while I listen to some nice tunes on some new sound gear. Traffic is pretty light on the highway outside my place, I'm betting a LOT of folks that are scheduled to be working said fuck that shit, it's way to cold out there (-1F). Hope you guys get to take it easy today, as well. Let's save the manic mondays until January...

The beach is cold today as well..
I know because I ain't far from there right now, and the wife wants to take the grand boy to the zoo. I'm like....brrr WTF, yes dear, what ever you say dear, WTF.

Snow birds have been very confused around here the last 20 years. These geese are heading due south in freezing cold January, from a couple days ago. They used to leave in October when I was a kid.
