Harvest time came on the weekend this go around, so that worked out really well. Good weekend for sales, as well. Over 2 grand. Been working long and late all weekend, now it's time to take a little break. Gonna sleep late again then have a luxurious breakfast and do a little baked house cleaning. Then I'll change the strings on my guitar, it always sounds like a new instrument with fresh strings. I'll be able to put a few hours into practicing her today. Hope your week will have a pleasant start, feel free to share how yours is beginning...

I tell you, I've played a lot of strings, and Elixirs only do the job on the guitar. D'addario as decent substitute at times. But I don't think it really gets going till you get a few plays in them. I always leave the long cunt hairs on there a while, because I think they stretch a bit in the first few plays and it takes that to get back to the good ole tension.

I play classical guitar, and I've been using D'addario's EJ-45TT (Titanium Trebles, whatever the fuck that means). Their only $13 bucks per set. They sound amazing, but they don't last that long, 3 month max practicing 90 mins a day. They do slip a lot of pitch the first couple days. Violin strings are $50 per set minimum, so I don't mind the price of guitar strings. I hate when strings go dull and the intonation starts to go. I'm still new at tying the ends of the strings, so it takes me a while. I'll be baked, so I won't mind...

I guess the gut hairs have gone out of style. I've never actually played classic in my time. It's a hell of a deal, these dirty bastard strings though, I tell you. I get about a half a year on a set anymore from laziness. And the pegs were a great invention.

What about violin bows? I saw one on Ebay for $22,000.

I assume you get yours cheaper? I was hoping to find a cheap one to pretend I'm Jimmy Page and see what sounds I can make on a strat.
 
Every day is monday, always something waiting to be done. I get to make my schedule but I have to make it harsh or Ill just get farther behind.

I finally look forward to the work, figuring shit out. It sucks in tge moment but I love checking shit off my list and adding new shit.
