HG looks beautiful. SO does the OG. I personally like the look of the HG, but I have been wanting to add OG Kush into my garden for some time.

I know what you mean. The HG grows like a dream. Very sturdy plant.

I just hate the way the OG grows, but its still so good that I could never imagine letting it go.

If one wasn't catering to OG the yield would be minimal. Even with close attention, the OG's yield is a joke compared to HG.

Another interesting thing is that the OG's buds looks close to being done, where as the HG looks way way bigger but still quite immature.

Same here bout the OG..... its a strain I would love to get some seeds of and breed with :D

I would appreciate it if some one could explain to me why OG is so special?

Don't get me wrong, its one of my favorites but there is so much stuff out there that is quite potent and still yields fairly more, and even tastes similar to OG.

As can be seen in raidersfan420's grow, his PK looks more frosty than mine and looks like a much better yield as well.

oh the PK is frostier and yields slightly more....... but the OG is VERY stable, and breedable ;)...... SR 71 PK is a clone only strain, no seeds available to get a male...... the smoke isn't too terribly special on the OG for the yields you get, but the breeding potential allows for almost limitless possibilities......... that and its pretty :D

fat calyxes there on the OG :)

Even when OG was clone only, it was still quite special to so many folks. I do admit it is one sexy lady.

BTW any input on some tricks to get the OG to yield more besides bending I would really appreciate.

you may want to back off a little on the nutes for the OG ;)
Thanks bro, I am definitely taking it easy on the OG from here on.

How about the HG, does it look deficient, its eating a lot more. Some leaves are starting to show some Mg deficient with the brown rust spots.

Do you think it is Mg deficient, or needs more or everything?

Thanks for the help.

you lollipopped just a little too much.... On the OG that is, your yield would have been better had you left a couple more nodes on, and spaced the plants a tiny bit more (if possible), and you put them into flower right After lollipopping (I just read back) which sometimes causes stunts, and/or excessive stretching during internodal development in the first two weeks of flower..... which nutes were you using? H&G

are you talking about the severe lollipopping session i did before turning them back?

I went really hard on the HG but not on the OG. One huge mistake with the OG was that it wasn't getting as much light as the HG so I put one of the HG in the corner and put the OG under the HPS.

Next time I will definitely take it easy on the lollipopping.

Next time I am definitely putting up a screen for the OG, so we'll see how much better I could do.

I am using cash crop nutes. www.dutch-glory.com

I will definitely follow your advice and try to do better next time.

Yeah man, cannot argue on the space, my space is very tight. Wish I had more space but I am more than satisfied with the current space and will probably veg less to deal a bit more with the problem

is it possible your Trichoderma has died?

Anything is possible, but I doubt it since I never had any run off.

Are you asking bout the trichoderma because the nute uptake doesn't seem efficient?

I did use cobra for 2 days, in the beginning, from a little sample pack.

There could be some salt build up..

its possible, but salt build up is easy to deal with in good coco...... I don't like the ratios of Shiva's A and B that is why I haven't used it..... its organic based but not organic (like FF TB, GB etc.)

So far the results aren't half bad, but the reason i got these is because i got some samples from a convention in SF via am acquaintance. So I wanted to at least finish one grow with it to see how it is.

Next one is finalized to go H&G all the way. I just cannot seem to justify the price for cashcrop nutes, they are the most expensive nutes in the market on top of least available.

May I ask why u dont like the ratio.

Firstly mate, you shoud allow some runoff when watering. Secondly, flush, flush, flush...it will clean the coco right through. If you can measure your run off as well, PH and EC, you will know what's going on inside your pots. Compared to the orginal solution you use to flush. It's the only way to really know what's going on in your pots.
