Quick question guys, I would appreciate it if anyone could give me some opinions.

I am planning on flushing tonight, as I haven't done that the entire grow. I have also been watering with no runoff.

Here are the options, please tell me which one you like best, and don't forget I am growing in coco.

1- Flush with 1.5 EC with 40-50% runoff, use 50% strength nutes.
2- Same as 1, just add 15 mL to the mix
3- Flush with R/O and clearex with 50% run-off then in a few hours feed them 100% strength nutes.

Why are you flushing? I usually give my ladies a 50% runoff feeding every couple of weeks, but I always get 10% runoff. I haven't flushed and really don't plan on even flushing even at the end. With coco you really don't need to flush, just reduce ec/ppm the last week or two and water less. Unless ofcourse you have a problem. The great thing about cooc is that you can flush and start over if fuck something up. So having said that, IMO If your gonna flush to stablize the medium, I would flush with ph'd r/o and then feed the next day with your normal ec/ppm of nutes.

thank you raiderfan for your quick response.

everything is well, the only thing is that the HG doesn't get nutriburn even at 3.2 EC, that is way too high, so I am thinking there is some salt build up.

i will take the safe route and just feed 50% strength nutes and additives @ EC 1 and try to get ~50 percent run off.

I recommend you go with raiderfans advice...... accept at the end.... even with coco, a good week long flush period at the end makes a HUGE difference

That is good to know Dragon. I was told by my friend that turned me on to coco that you were supposed to drop the ppms down the last 10 days, but that there was no need to flush coco at the end. I would take Dragons advice however because I have seen his results and trust his advice. :-P

Thanks bro, just did what raider said. ♠♠
Yo Bender, I hope you didn't flush with just plain R/O water? You will of washed away some of your all important trichoderma. But it's not a major problem if you did, just not ideal.

Never flush with totally clean RO water in coco until the very end, and even then, only if you DON'T want to re-use your coco.....always use a reduced feed for flushing during flowering.... 1.0-1.2 EC or something like that. Just to keep the good bacteria going. I flushed my plants through every 10-14 days or so like this.

At the very final flush before harvest, if you plan on re-using your coco, just flush an even lighter EC feed. At like 0.4 EC or something. This will keep your trichoderma alive and kicking for your next use of the coco. Or you can use Canna flush, this removes exess salt buildup from the medium, but also keeps the bacteria alive as well.

Plants are looking GREAT though man! :weed:

nah it was funny.... I was watching a movie earlier..... a kids movie.... there was a race...... two dudes on big nice horses, they could gallop and trot pretty quick (hot heads of course), and one more benign slower paced dude on a donkey...... the slow donkey won the race, the donkeys name was molasses! I just thought it was funny, lol.....

But there are plenty of organic molasses based flushing supplements available that are safe to use in coco ;)
LOL....I was just messin' with ya mate.

I know it's good stuff and contains lots of great trace nutes that our plants just love. But that's kinda my point.....A lot of good organic nutes extract thier goodness from molases, so use the stuff from the nute companies, not the stuff from the supermarket......LOL........that is for baking.
