Megacrop

Interesting info being shared in here. I still have so much of the v1 nutes that I bought about 2 years ago that I end up giving some of it away with clones to new growers locally. Though I think it's deficient in something because if I go straight mega the whole wat then Mg & sometimes Ca issues can pop up depending on the strain. Have to add another 100-200ppm of Epsom salts every other week to balance it out.

i had cut v1 & v3 upon arrival 50 -50 with epsom

I tried to get deeper into this and mostly just left myself confused with more questions lol..
I think I'm just going to stick with my mix of calimagic, epsom, mc, and mkp. It seems to be working pretty well right now.
 
Anyone here used both the Megacrop and Jacks Hydroponics? If so which one did you like better and why?
 
If mixing concentrate is there any concern about things changing over time? It will probably take me a year to go thru my last purchase.

You should be ok.

Some growers use concentrate with no problems.
Some have had problems.
 
yes i was mixing a gallon jug of super strong concentrate and after it sat for too long it would seem to go bad and have what appeared to be white fungus or mold floating on the top... maybe just scum.. but it started to smell bad too, not just the regular shit stink but rancid

i'm stilling using the V1, with nothing added to it. i feed 1500+ppm at peak tho.. some strains i've fed 2500ppm without burn
 
Well I am using megacrop, just megacrop with no additives and i have come to realize that my yields are poor, and my buds aren't dense like when I was using the AN PH Perfect. I still have 3 jugs of PH perfect in the cupboard, so I am going to switch back and finish them. A guy hates paying for water, but if the yields from the 1 part megacrop are that much shittier than the AN, sell me some water please.... What are you guys adding to the megacrop for budding that gives back some density. There were so many people here pushing the megacrop as the shit to use, and apparently I drank the Koolaid.
