HPS looks great. Just be careful, I scorched my leaves when it got about eight inches away. Don't underestimate the heat of those things, I keep it at least 14" away now. I'm also wondering if you got those Bubblicious from Nirvana. I just ordered Bubblicious, Super Skunk, and Jock Horror (Jack Herrer, whatever) from them. Despite all my first grow troubles I'm starting to see the first baby buds on my plants and I can't wait to grow some super dank on the second go-round. You'll be there before you know it. Patience is everything in this hobby. Peace.

Thanks a lot guys it really makes a difference to get props from ya'll. zilluz, Thanks bro i think i finally tweaked the setup to be the way i need it to be. One adjustment i made since the pics was i turned the light so the bulb was lateral to the far wall i feel i get better light dispercment.
Tryin, I saved that sight LOL. that would be the way to go in my opinion bro, the other parts aren't as costly as the ballast. A good bulb can cost though. GL
Mared you and I share the same concerns lol, i was in there every hour last night checking the canopy with my hand and reading the temps. right now i have leveled out at 77 from the sensor which i place below the plants from a stick in one of the pots(gives me shade read) and about 80 from the canopy. The light is about 10 inches away. So if it stays like this i think I will be fine but i eill monitor the tops and leaves. Thanks again everyone and lets see how they react to the HPS

to you aswell my friend well they seem to be loving the Hps, I am hoping that they start to grow a lot over the next couple of weeks b/c I am anxious to start flowerin,lol The kush are catching up but still ill never start 2 seperate plants at different times again. right now I have the light about 14 inches away and temps are pretty good. dont know if its just inexperiance but i cant find pre-flowers yet, I use a 30x jewlers scope. on june 9 it will be a full month so maybe they need a bit more time.

I had my first plant show sex 32 days from seed and the last was 40 days. So you probably have a week or two to go. The worst part is they will appear as little lumps at first and you will still have to wait for those lumps to sprout balls or hairs.

they should man, and they are looking great. getting big fast. ill post some pics later tonight of my babies. they are not as big as yours but still doing good. ohh and i think im finally gonna cut down my first female. SO excited look at this and let me know what you think plz...

Ok so i decided to flush the bubbilicious, last night i read the ppm in the runoff and it was waay too high for the stage they are in 143x10 or 1430 ppm i want it in 400-800 range right now. I used a gallon and half ph'd distilled water w/ teaspon of peroxide per gal. gal and half b/c my pots are 3 quarts of soil so i doubled that. Hopefully they react ok and get that toxic build up out.

man i would have to say the number 1 thing i will not repeat my next grow is feeding my plants too early. i was to anxious to get that grow big in them that I nute burned both the kush and the Bubs. but they are all looking good still next time around A. not using foxfarm nutes(i just dont care for them)2. respecting that first 2 weeks no nutes. LOL I tested the ppm on the kush and they where 144x1o which is way to high. I just gave them water and thats all they will get for a few weeks till that ppm goes down. I know i am rambling but for me the feeding has been the ultimate challenge, I just hope i get it down soon.

I know you have to wait a while but I want to see the next runoff ppm from your bubblicious. Then we'll really know the results of your flush.

yeah i will check them in 5 days or so, i am pretty sure they will be good for atleast a week or so. Hopefully the ppm is 4-800 range, then I will be ok. I decided just to give the kush water for now till ppm lowers. Does superthrive effect PPM?

Yes, anything you add that is not pure water will raise ppms.

I really dont think they are showing much as far as sex goes but i am gonna throw them into flowering in 1 more week depending how my ppm reads next watering. I really want them to be healthy b/f we hit the 12/12. Anyways does anyone know what could be wrong with my Kush leaf in the second pic? I circled it, its chillin next to the Bub.Next tim i am gonna be waayy more conservative with the nutes, I def' burned these plants early on
