ok folks, here is an update week one day 5, I am not worried about topping just yet. you can see in the pictures i too out one 'pot'(Seed was bad) but my other two hopefully girls! they are doing fine as you can see with the pics i added. Also note i moved them closer to the light as riddle said. ( i used some dvd cases and building blocks due to the small space) oh ya my gf was in my closet yesterday with everything on and she didnt even notice it at all! i love the stealth!
I have noticed after I watered yesterday, this morning the soil was bone dry. any recomendations? i did water them a lil untill i can get an answer on here.

Hey Fish,
So when you water , do you ensure that you are getting good run off? Those girls should not be drying out that quick. If watered thoroughly, you should not have to water them for a week or so. I did notice that the little one on the right is a little light on the dirt. You should add another inch to that pot, it may help a little with the rapid drying. You could have dry pockets in the soil if it is a heavy peat mix? If it is you might try to water from the bottom up. It takes longer to get it done but you get 100% absorbtion.
Ultimately you need to decide when to water. By making a mental note of the weight of the pot when it is completely watered, you will be able to tell by their weight when they are dry. just a suggestion. Hope it helps.

The plant on the right is bent from its own weight, I know you moved the plants closer to the light, but I think you still need to replant that plant and undo the bend . I would stretch it out, and like somebody said add soil.
What is the current distance to the CFLs ? You can have them 2 inches apart from the CFLs, and no heat damage.

Hey bro you and I are both first time growers tight right. I noticed you and I are also growing in a Stealth cpu case. I am using 2 100watt CFLs with a blue tint to them and today is my fifth day and check these baby's out. This picture was taken on the 3rd day from ground break, 5th from germination, I buried them about 1 inch under the soil. Also I am currently using two of these I honestly do not think that the blue leds will give any benefits although I leave my fan on 24/7. Best part they are silent and move plenty of air.

Sorry folks I went on a weekend fishing trip, but im back now.
Thanks BIG, I added water today and made sure i had a little run through the bottom. My girls did great while I was gone. I did add dirt to the one on the right. I am using happy frog soil which I got from the hydroponic store which said its great for indoor gardens.
I also did take a night on how light it was before I watered the girls( it was light) and I did feel a difference after I watered.) I should have remembered rom riddle's thread but I was High!)
I did move them back about an inch or so(2 dvd cases) they are now about 6 inches from my 1 cfl light. The temp stays at 80. I am going to redo the inside with nylar instead of tin foil.
When I do that, will I be able to turn on more lights? i have 3 that are not on.

As for the lights? I would start adding one at a time so that the seedlings have a chance to get used to it. This will also let you know what your temps are going to do.
With the temps, You can only do what you can do. Some strains are able to handle the heat better than other so you will just have to see how they do. As small as they are I would turn on one more every 2 days. This will give them a chance to harden up a little before the next light is added. Just my opinion.

week 2day 3, the hopefully girls are doing well for the last 2 days after i turned another light on them, I just turned another one on today for a total of 3, I alos gave them their first aste of some nuts today. i barly had any come out of the bottom after i watered so i believ i will wait till next monday or so to add more nuts.
I know that i did 2 things to them today but i want to see with the new light and nuts how strong my girls are. I am going to put some pics up tonight or friday night.
