I wish I could say the same, it's all over the place here. Weird thing to me is I used to barely ever see any and now it's all over the place. You can put almost a half pound in a regular ziploc bag

If you oly yielded 2oz per plant and sold for $200 an oz and had 2 harvests you'd be at $48,000....

Ridiculous statement.
Government makes no money from the enforcement of cannabis laws. Seizures don't come close to paying for the cost of enforcement. If cannabis were de criminalized no government jobs would be lost..actually, more would be created.

Not really since the prisons would be half empty. I think the trickle down effect that cannabis has on law enforcement jobs is grossly underrated. They need it to be illegal so they can keep those prisons full and keep bringing in the money.
If pot were legalized you would see a lot of the privately owned prisons shutting down.

I'm using the 2 oz number as a minimum.(in the model I posted, I used 2.5, as all these guys say they yield more. 2.5 is where 60k comes from) These guys keep saying they couldn't make a living growing, without charging 300 an oz. I've set forth an economic grow model based on low yield, high cost growing conditions, that shows a very reasonable living can be made.
We are in a Medical forum, discussing the advance of legal medical growing. they all say they want more legal rights to grow. I'm just asking how they would be able to make a living in a legal, free market environment.
Either they don't truly want more liberal cannabis laws, or they simply couldn't compete if there were legal growers...or they want legalized, but black market prices.

In mich I highly doubt that u get good buds for 325$A qp unless you are trading at that price with another grower. 325 I would not be able to make my electric bill.
Edit; I Want the same prices as I charge for chantrells I forage off my land . FAIR market value you probably haggle at the farmers market too ... What an asshole... 75000$ a year after taxes is a good living wage for the high cost areas of Cali and other populated areas. Fair market value is set by you . It is up to the patient to be on point growing there own meds since it's sooooo easy.
or finding a compassionate caregiver that has extra .... I only have extra cuz of the prices I charge to non cash strapped med users. Things are tough all over the gap between the haves and the have nots is widening . This a way for a lowly dirt farmer to get ahead alittle by charging sliding scales to your med users I make the HAVEs pay fir the HAVENOTS.

Read my posts. Don't just pick snippets. Not flip flopping. I've shown a grow model for a 60 plant grow, with high operating costs and assuming low per plant yield that would earn the "business owner" 60k a year, selling his product at fairly low prices.
I'm simply asking for either logical adjustment to that model, or why people feel that 60k a year isn't enough for tending a garden. And yes, 60 plants is a garden...farmers have acres to contend with..

If you legalized cannabis, tax income for governments would increase (we'd pay taxes on the income from growing) And all the jobs you mention would still exist...they would simply be more effieceimt with cannabis cases lessened.

Your mis informed. Although there are a ton of cannabis related "crimes" in statistical information, the vast majority are for misdemeanor possession or use. The people going to prison for cannabis are larger scale than that.
It wouldn't empty the prisons...might reduce over crowding..but that's a good thing.

The war on drugs is all about keeping big pharma in control and natural meds down the cash flows from lobbyist in washinton to the border an coastal regions . It is all exmilatary running the show for the war on drugs... They buddy up and work a thousand hours a year then buy the seized assets for nothing and own pawn shops an mansions in Texas !!!

You may be a little under informed yourself. There are a lot of people in prison right now for marijuana related "crimes". I'm not going to try and figure the numbers out right at this moment because I don't have time but it's a pretty significant number. I was actually just reading a story about private prisons and how they basically rely on the drug trade to make money. If you saw some of the companies privatizing prisons you would be surprised to see some familiar names.
