My first foray

Ok I've just enrolled in the "Widowmaker School of Growing" and completed my entry exams:

I placed my seeds in a damp paper towel in a glass with a squirt of water in a dark cabinet. Now I had mine in 4 days instead of three to be able to pot in privacy:shock:

I was extremely pleased when I peeked at the seedlings this morning.

I'm going to attempt outdoor growing these as I don't have a basement or suitable "private" place to set up a grow environment indoors but I do outdoors.

I will be potting these seedlings in 16 oz cups with Scotts potting soil. Now my question here is, since I'm using sun instead of electric lighting, do these cups need to be out in the sun each day? and if so, for how long each day during this stage of the process.

I'll stay tuned for an answer throughout the day, I'm off to begin potting now!!!:joint:

Put them in a partialy shaded spot to harden them off for a couple days. Then you can put them in full sun with no worries.Put them out for the whole day, heck if the night time temps are not going belowe 55-60 keep them out all the time.OPH
I forgot to say i hope that the scotts soil did not have any nutes in it.You run the risk of killing them when they are this young.Add nutes after the third set of leaves.OPH
