gotta say thanks to the guys in the Marijuana Plant Problems forum, very nice and eased my mind about the browning hairs.. I don't think I'll be worrying about them anymore. So if any of you stop by THANK! lol

Looking beautiful homie, looks very green and healthy.
You can lst all through veg, just stop when you start flowering. Topping will increase your yield tremendously, look into for your next grow. Keep up the good work bro!

Nice plant mate, really looks healthy and thriving.

I wouldn't worry about early orange/brown hairs, different strains show them at different rates as they mature. Sometimes they are a sign of some mild stress or damage (for instance on a crowded plant, a bud with a leaf pressed against it will show some brown hairs if the leaf is removed).

Personally I continue to LST for the first 2 weeks of flowering, countering some of the stretch and widening the canopy, I have had good experience with this and find that it gives better light to the buds as they develope and makes it much easier to harvest.

I would also say that it is safe to repot a plant in flower to a larger pot for the first 2-3 weeks, although once the roots start to spread you will see some obvious stretch and it leads to "stringy" weed as a result, in my experience (not a reduced harvest, as such, more that the same amount of bud is spread thinner across the plant and buds have a wheat like growth pattern).

Good luck with your grow.

Hey thanks for checking it out Letitgrow! I have been doing some mild LST throughout the last 2 weeks of flowering just to get the buds more light and I've seen some big results in the lower bud formation. I just do it until I feel like she has had enough. I was a baby when it came to topping lol, I just didn't want to F her up but I'm pretty confident that with the information that I have learned from this site I will have no problem doing it(kinda seems like you cant go wrong) when it comes to topping I have found a couple different methods that I am going to try out.. all though I believe my next grow will be a short party cup grow 12/12 from seed(because I'll be moving in 5 months), maybe I'll use 1qt pots or so. I have 3 more "Maui Wawi" seeds and a legit Grape Fruit seed so we'll see what happens!

Thanks Spindles! Yeah I'm not too worried about the browning hairs, the buds are still growing nice and plump! And thanks for the info about transplanting.. she is just too close to the dirt and spread out for me to attempt. Maybe someone with expert transplanting skills but thats not me! lol.
+rep my friend thanks for stopping in and checking her out!

Feel free to tune back in guys I would love to hear from y'all again!

Changed up the lights a bit, bought another 42w for a total of 4. I had 2 extra light adapters and a socket with 2 plugs on the sides, added them together for a T adapter, I added it to the top center and put 3 23w bulbs. Now I have a total of 11 lights, 329 real watts. I also downloaded a photo editor, I need to figure out how to use it but hopefully by next update I can get some crisp pictures ;-)

Keep token! :bigjoint:

Hey Freebird loving the T connector I use those myself, for a number of reasons. +rep for the T connector and having the right idea for CFL growing well done.

P.S. Typo in the plus rep note... meant T connector rules. :P

Baha thanks HS, it actually worked out a lot better than I expected.

Thanks man. Lol and your right millyy, I still don't have it down.

So some of the fan leafs started turning a shade of yellow and one of them has a brown spot on it, the plant over all is kind of dull in color. I think she is a bit Nitrogen deprived, should I try foiler feeding with Grow Big? its 6% nitrogen and has the directions for foiler feeding.. I was thinking about testing it on some of the leafs first. I just fed her last night with molasses and ph'd water.
I also did some LST last night, for the last time I think, to open up the canopy a bit. I also noticed that my biggest fan leaf was covering up a tiny shoot lol so I moved that out the way and it has grown. Sorry but I couldn't really get good pics of the yellowing with my camera. OH! and I added 2 more lights, tubes, 12w, 1 6500k and one 5000k
Let me know what you think!

I need to practice my LST more that is very impressive! And loving that you varied up the spectrum a bit just like nature.

Keep an eye on that leaf, brown spots and yellowing can be a sign of PH issues or Cal Mag deficiency but don't fret yet may be nothing.

Hey thanks for the rep and welcome Bayareagreenthumb!

Little update.. The yellowing and spotting hasn't spread to the other leafs so far, she is getting a good nute watering tonight right before lights out. I'm going to allow 50% run-off in efforts to flush the soil some and give her a good amount of food, I estimate that it should only take about 1 gallon and 1 quart of water to get a good 50% run-off. I got some good advice from Snow Crash and Jawbrodt from the Marijuana Plant Problems forum, I hope that it helps. I'll post some pics tomorrow after work

Thanks Lee! Yeah Magnesium and Potassium deficiencies are a bitch, never thought about having these problems so the research is in full swing again.

Nice grow man. subd +rep
Hey welcome Incognegro(love the name)! Thanks for sub'n up and the rep! The path is a tricky one right now lmao, but she's still growing!

So a LOT has been going on with her in the past 3 days or so, mainly bad :wall: but the buds are still swelling and getting super icy! It appears that she has a pretty nasty case of Magnesium and Potassium deficiencies, several of the mid level fan leafs(the giants) have gone yellow and rusty looking. I've goten some pretty good advice from a few guys in the problems forum over the last couple of days and I'm following there recommendations to correct the issue. I watered her today with a gallon of
Use 2ml/gallon Tiger Bloom, 5ml/gallon Big Bloom, and 8ml/gallon Liquid Karma.
to give her about 50% runoff. I'm thinking about flushing her next watering in an effort to get rid of any buildup in the soil.
I also removed the side floro tubes because they burned up some of the leafs.. oops  So I trimmed her up a bit to get rid of the spots and dead/burnt leafs but left the leaf parts that are just yellow, I'm going to let them die off on their own.
I wasn't home last night when she needed to be watered, I just lost track of time. Not only did I not get to water her but I also left the side floro tubes on(no space on the timer addapter) for about 25 min past lights out. So I had to water her this morning.. UGH, I'm pretty pissed at myself, she doesn't need anymore stress than she already has.
About 3 hours after I watered her she started to give off an extremely spicy smell, almost smelled exactly like Spiced Chai Tea, for about an hour. Now she is back to smelling as usual, just like a White Chocolate Mocha.:weed:
ANYWAYS! here are some pics from today! Let me know what you think and happy growing!
