My First Grow with cfl's

well your nodes are close together which is good. if you want more vertical try lifting your lights some. i put mine about 4in or so and now i'm starting to get some seperation in leaves. try it and see what happens.

Thanks for the tip man. I did that a few hours ago and it looks like its already lifting a little. Man i didnt realize how fast this mj grows...

Yeah at least experiences like that help you to improve in the future...but anyways i took a pic earlier after i watered. Here it is.



Things are looking good. I raised the light an inch or two so that i can get some more lift. Any grow tips? bongsmilie

Man im completely stuck...temps are crazy in my closet and i don't have any way to ventilate it. I can't leave the door open and their's no way in hell im gunna be able to tear a fucking hole in the wall and put an exhause and intake *i wish*. Yeah but really i need to figure out something that is going to lower my temps without alot of sacrifice.

Plants looking good Doc.. if its anything like mine.. I raised the light just about an inch.. and within a few days stems and branches and all that stuff I was waiting for...
So yea man, I guess time will run its course !! Patience !!

About the heat, the only real suggestion I have is that DIY chiller link I posted about a week ago.. Maybe you could give that a shot man ? Or get a more Powerful fan

Just a thought !

man your plant looks good and you only have them on 2 cfl's im currently using two 48 in fluros and my results arent half as good as yours keep up the good work

Thanks guy's im going to go take some pic's after i water them here in a little bit. Im too busy hiting my bong right now....hold on...bonsmilie...Okay anyways plants are doing good. Only 3 more days and im going to LST the plant's. Im thinking about chopping plant 2 cause its growing so fucking slow. Plant 1 is at least twice as big and it only had a 1 day head start. Any thoughts?

Yeah i would just figure after almost 20 days it should be more then 2 inches in diameter and not even 2 inches tall.

Mine were all pokey like that until they hit about 5 weeks or so, then the leaves started getting larger and branches started to grow at the nodes.

Just keep on cheering them on. They'll get there.

I know, my largest plant Lucinda is about 2 months old, maybe even a week or so older and she just now showed me that she was a female. I thought I was going to explode waiting. I still have like 2 months of budding to go to, then dry and cure. This weed better kick ass.

I bet it will. Knowing me shitting luck im gunna waste all my time on these plants and im probably going to end up chopping them cause their males. I don't care though because i have Feminized Pure Power Plant en route as we speak. I don't have two grow rooms so i may just start over when i get the PPP because i REALLY WANT TO KNOW WHAT IM GROWING! Instead of, "hey look at this weed its some bomb ass shit, i dont know what it is but its kill".

I would go ahead and finish this grow for practice. Yes if they're males kill 'em off, but if they're females you may as well finish them out, that way when you grow your good seeds you know a little more about what you're doing.
