Well, thanks all for the debate. And jackmac - your first post mainly asked questions and hinted that coco was wrong, I already explained the second one, and since then, you've added to the debate instead of just arguing or calling things wrong without explanation. So thanks again!

As long as you flush it well, the brand shouldn't really matter too much. Just make sure to get the salts out. I tend to like this stuff the best, it's already pre-flushed and fluffy:

Had the same problem with my grow. I flushed and put holes all the way around my pot to the bottom of them. I have plush green new growth and back to growing nicely.
Sorry to keep you all hanging I've been busy sorry, I'm at work but when I get home I'll have a really good read of this thread in mean time I'm using canna brand coco coir it's really quiet fine almost like a very nice soil look.
Planets are still looking little sick. They guy I got clones off recons little heat stress and may be aslight under watering. Water I will increase, the heat is problem I've directed the inline fan right onto the plants and pray for cooler weather here.
Thanks for all the information. Enjoy sitting down and having good read
i use cana coco but some times the salts are high like this round same as you coir perlite you will notice on run off dark orange as you put clones in you need to give them small feeds the top needs to be moist 2 inches down , moister meter 20 bucks valuable tool , the coir dryes up quick on the top from the lights but after a week or so you will need to give them bigger feeds say 10% run off becuase of the roots getting bigger down bellow but may be one or two biger feeds let your meter be your guide. i go 6.2 ph veg 5.8 bloom and give the some sort of nitrogen hit now and again works for me and crank your humidity 50 60 even 70 they love it just remeber dont let the top dry out and make sure ec run off is not higher than what your putting in.
Well my buddy was right it looks like i wasn't watering them enough day 15 they are looking alot better, however the odd leaf gets some heat stress/burn on it the yellowing on leaves has reduced a lot not fully gone, i have removed alot of the unhealthy looking leaves. there seems to be a heap of new growth going on so another 16 odd days before 12/12 and it think I'll have some nice little girls.
This info in the thread was amazing hopefully i learn a ton from it.. I cant wait for winter grow here as the temps will be alot nicer for me =DDDD
