how long has the papaya been in flower? certainly don't want to cut before 8 weeks(or very rarely)
plants look pretty green, often color will drain from the big fans as maturity progresses
pistils have turned, but they can mislead, have you checked the trichomes yet?

i first saw pistil production in the middle of july, between 12th and 19th not sure when exactly
i am sort of one of those guys who just wants to be able to do the entire process with as little
equipment as possible. i want to know that i can do all this shit without necessary tools, but there's
no shortcut for true experience is there...i figure if i keep taking pictures and at some point, a vast majority of
people agree that it's ready, and the plant has that slight amber tint on the trichomes, then
i'll take her down. yeah actually just today i saw that two lower fan leaves have become yellow
and a couple other ones have brown/rust patches. i know thats a normal thing towards
the end so i'll assume it's towards the end? lol

from what i've seen as well, some people have some pretty big plants when they grow papaya from 12/12
the male plant at my friends house (papaya) is doing brilliant, but this female is so runty and tiny. i feel
i may have gotten unlucky with the genetics

it will be tough to make a harvest call from pics, you watch and take your best shot
the lower fans starting to 'rust' is very normal, plant is beginning to draw nutrients from the fans to the buds, that is a good thing
my guess is a couple more weeks, my gut reaction is a plant that looks this green still has some time to go

would rather go with your gut, mine just says 'cut the damn shit and smoke it, it's way stronger
than what you get around here already anyways'

pistils turning means going from the white color to something else, usually brown
they dry up as the bud goes into maturity, i do see brown pistils on your plant
you can cut a small side bud, dry, and test it out

i have only one reason i don't wanna do that. actually two haha
first, i dont know what to look for 'testing it out'. haven't smoked
indica in more than two and a half years, and when i did smoke
i didn't care so much what the high was like, more how fucking high
i was...
secondly, it's a tiny plant, and i really don't want to reduce my harvest
any more...but if i was to take a bud how would i quick dry it

understand on wanting to keep her whole until the end, i don't snip little buds myself but others do
drying it is a bit of a bugger, low heat in an oven will do it, bud will not taste too good though
1 week of air drying is better, but by that time your plant has moved on and the point of the side bud has really passed

Place a bowl of water on the stove with a metal lid, boil water till lid is sufficiently hot. Turn down heat and place fresh bud on the metal/ steel plate.. Wait for a bit.. Bud wont be potent, but is good to test. the bud gets brittle enough to smoke, but tastes like plant.

Is this "landrace" flowering? if it is fairly late in flowering then it is very normal to have quite a few fan leaves turning yellow and falling off. youre probably all good man

my landrace leaves are yellowing, but she's just starting what i think will be a 4-6 month long flowering process, the big one. the other one should be done by christmas. the big one is yellowing because of two things
1) till recently it was under unending rampage, courtesy some beautifully irritating red ants which i took care of with repeated application of turmeric powder/water solution, it was actually quite concentrated but no negative effects. neem oil didn't take care of ants
2) low on nitrogen which i just added, looking a lot better now than in the pics. yes sir
3) yes probably is up there with the best pot in the country

I recently visited tunisia and got abit hash it was pricey per gram for the place being like a 3rd world country but a very nice clean smoke almost like a standard bit weed and a good stone, also got some weed before in turkey and mexico and it was seedy and loose but gave u a good buzz smelt and taste not so good both obv growing out doors but the mexican stuff was better buzz i think that may be due to turkeys climate being like in the 40"s the stuff looked like the sun battered it.

The best country of all is a visit to Netherlands - Amsterdam you cant beat that for a smoke.

Grey Area <Silver Bubble - East Coast Sour Diesel>

Amnesia <LSDxCheese... very potent 25%thc 1.8%cbd>
i dunno dude i went to cali and the people i know who've gone to cali and amsterdam said
the weed is better in cali, but ppl are better in ams : )

succumbed to temptation and cut down the papaya. and praise the fucking lord i did
cause when i was cutting it i noticed one bud going brown - looked like a sign of the
very early stages of bud rot. sure enough it was.
no idea how many grams wet but here are the pics. that thing stunk up my room for
about an hour straight and it's just one fat cola. manicured and cut and now leaving
it to dry. will be having a test smoke tonight. should be fucking beautiful. never had
leaves stick to my fingers like this with indian weed. will be taking the mother
leaves and making myself something very nice and tasty.
