decided, i'll be getting

mother earth grow
mother earth bloom
juicy root clone gel
piranha powder
tarantula
ancient earth

yes i'm planning on cloning but only after i get the clone gel, and probably after i get my hydro set up going
which will take a little under two-three weeks. any advice for an alternative to expanded clay pellets?
cloning will ideally cut down my expenditure on seeds by half or more.

and if i get a hydro set up going i'll be using

connoisseur 2 part grow/bloom
sensi cal/mg +
some sort of pH up/down, probably GH

There is a government funded shop near Hessarghatta that sells organic fertilizers, cloning compound and other stuff at really cheap prices. If you have a car you can go there once and get everything you want under 1000 INR. Also you can try GKVK.

I don't think it has a name, its a shitty govt. building where farmers come to buy manure and what not. I'll be going there next weekend, I'll find out more details if you can wait that long.

Is it 100% guarantee that if we clone a female plant, the new plant that comes from the branch will be a female or at the most hermie? :|
This question is because the term 'cloning' is incorrectly used in MJ world for just a rooted-cutting.

How safe is it to clone from a flowering(just started hairs on all the bud-sites) plant?
This question is because whichever branch I take to use as a clone will have some hairs on the tip-most part, which means it has to stop flowering, then go back to vegetative growth.

How better is a cloning gel compared to root-stimulating 'powder'?

Where did you find a place to buy those listed organic products who would ship to india over an online purchase?

np, You can probably get it even cheaper if you speak kannada or know someone who does. Esp. the village kannada.

Good. Did you get rid of the mites?
i think so but the damage was already long done...either way it's got another 2-3 weeks
to go, and since none of the surrounding plants seem to have a problem with it i'll
probably let it be...rubbed all the undersides of the leaves down with neem oil and
spirit and i think they're gone cause it hasn't gotten worse...but we'll see, it's a learning
curve...need to start spraying preventively...

and i'll post an update soon, i think i just did like a day or two ago...

I'm having the same problem, my baby is about 3 weeks old and it cant stay in my room anymore so I'll have to move it to the terrace and I don't want the tenants and my parents snooping around. No idea what to do.
oh and I'll give you the address of that shop in hessarghatta tomorrow.
