I apologise if I sounded
like I was telling you how
to grow your grow. I know
you didn't say that I did.

This is my 3rd and final
post in this or any other
grow forum as I see as
many haters and political
bull as all the other net
grow forums.

A friend told me this one
was the friendliest and I
was looking for someone to
send some of my bonus GSC
seeds around the world
for FREE!! never happen

You said before:
-----------------------
cut the top buds of one of my
mandalas, massive spider mite
infection

buds are
smelling ridiculously strong
and potent, a really citrus-y
kind of smell that rushes
straight up your nose.
-----------------------

A fellow had mites also
and he joked that the
mites added weight to his
harvest. Imagine mites
laying arround on a couch
with a hookah, narghile,
or qalyān on your mandala
plant. Hope I didn't offend.
I hear most the mites leave
the plant as it drys if that
is any consolation.

I tried to create my own
thread and could not, I
tried to create 3 photo
albums and never allowed
to upload photos, so back
to doing what I do best,
not being on the computer.

I attached a photo of a
GSC plant at day 49 that
you could have had free
seeds but no youngblood.

See the ridiculous
trichromes at day 49
also it is lanky plant
so no 12 latitude
humidity problems.

I wanted to send free
seeds to different
countries around the
world but you want to
buy seeds from Nirvanna
at 5 pounds per WW bean
but don't want to any
spend money on lights.
Thats the new math I
never could figure out.

Best of karma to you
and yours.

never said you were saying anything wrong buddy...
i don't pay 5 pounds per bean, and i don't use feminized
seeds if i can help it, i pay 18 pounds for 10 beans.
big difference : )

your plant is looking fucking awesome man, and i'm always
here if you want to send beans ;) will do them the justice
they deserve. i don't think anyone here gave any negative
vibes out, sorry if you got them. cheers man enjoy the
growing

big update should change things:

just picked up:

3kg of rock phosphate
4kg of steamed bone meal (fine ground)
25kg of some REALLY HI quality worm compost (pretty close to worm castings)
4kg of cotton seed meal
20kg of coco peat
1 L Humic Acid*
1 L Amino Acid**
50g Rooting Paste***

Total Bill: 2177 INR ~40 USD (Patriotism begins now)
Also, to improve my compost teas I got a couple more air pumps.

*It says:
Purely organic
Humic Acid 25%, Fulvic acid 6%, Potassium Oxide (K2O) 12%

**It says:
Purely organic
50% Amino Acid (Soya Origin, 100% water soluble)

***It says:
Active Ingredients: Indole-3-butyric acid and humic acid

Now for the question:
what is the best ratio to mix these in? how long should i let it sit?
i think cottonseed meal is high in nitrogen
bone meal is phosphate
rock phosphate will take a while to become available but should be
great once i reuse the soil.

also picked up 15 grow bags, not sure of the exact size of each one...
and a pressurized squirter thing cause it fucking looked cool.
so now my soil mix will consist of:

rock phosphate, bone meal, neem cake, cotton seed meal, enough amino/humic/fulvic acid (hopefully)
and an organic source of micronutrients.

started some worm compost tea,
recipe:

-7-8 handfuls of worm castings
-20ml of the humic/fulvic acid
-20ml of the amino acid
-about 100 grams of cottonseed meal
-a diced up banana peel for kicks
-1-2 handfuls of jaggery (carb source)

been going at it for about 12 hours, i expect the heavy frothing and pleasant earthy smell to startcoming in a few
hours, if not there's something wrong...

and attached are pictures of my 24 hour garden support group, my worm tea at start, and a shot of my landrace at
night after some heavy winds and rain. she'll be back upright in an hour after that, and sure enough, she's fine today.

How many weeks or months has that landrace been on flowering?
Mine is nowhere near yours compared to size, but the flowers looks like yours!

Not sure if you remember my personal messages where one was there where I mentioned about a runt I have. You asked me to kill it :P
That's the same plant that has been in flowering for me. Been on flowering for over two months now!

The manufacturers named Sterling Farms whose products I'm using who are near my home are the same ones you are using! Except the 'bio farm' brand.

in the two days since that picture was taken, lots has changed. i have foliar fed all of my plants except the white satin leaning strain of
mandala's safari mix. the foliar feed consisted of
-micronutrients
-humic acid
-amino acid
and wow. the number of yellow leaves is down from 50+ to single digits

oh yeah, she's had preflowers since mid july but only started really stacking on (more than 1-2 calyxes per bud site) about 2 weeks ago. outdoor grower friend in switzerland said she'd easily yield over a kilo

Hey! Isn't the micronutrient a liquid type named 'neoplex'? And, if it's neoplex, it's not really organic. No problems? :|

I've got around 10-15 yellow leaves, and assuming thats normal during flowering stage, I haven't done anything. I've got humic acid and micronutrient in liquid foliar feed form. Let me try it like the way you did to check if the number of yellow leaves reduce or not :D
Even if yellowing is normal, it's not really something nice to look at :|

In my case, as there wasn't any delay in stacking up since the 'puberty', my two months of flowering is like two months of stacking up. Would you still say it would take another two more months till I can harvest? Would a picture help you assume it?

A kilo of homegrown landrace sativa will give you months of that rush type of high :D Congrats!
As mine was started indoors with a mere 11 watt CFL just for curiosity sake, and runted it like that for two long months before it was moved out, mine is still very small.
It is like the letter Y. I mean, just two main stems on which several secondary branchings are there.

You said yours has been stacking up since the last two weeks. In another post you said they have started giving out the weed smell.
Mine has been stacking up for two months, but still no smell! Why? :O

i had the neoplex long back, it's there unused. i'm using some different organic stuff
yellowing is normal obviously, but ideally you want to avoid it, add some high nitrogen stuff...
i have no idea, its my first time as well
why?? ...because it takes time...have patience

Shit! I should've waited for your reply! I foliar fed using neoplex yesterday itself!

The chemical nutes I'd used around 4 weeks back was 10:15:25
Then bone meal, which on googling revealed its like 1:6:0
Then normal organic fertilizer which is called 'kalpa meal' which is 7:10:5.
All these have N. But is there any just N and no P/K kind of organic substitute that you could think of?

After the micronutrient foliar feeding, today morning the flowers started giving out smell. Not weed smell, and not intense. Just a mild sweet flowery smell. If I sit across wind direction, I don't actually have to bring my nose near it :D

i've found that if you're going organic it makes more sense to be focused on the big picture. if you've used chemicals it may take a while for your soil to build up a microbial population big enough to benefit the plant.
the only chemicals that i can think of that would make sense to use while growing organic are:
epsom salts
hydrogen peroxide solution (extremely dilute)
carbonated water (not club soda)

neoplex is primarily organic but uses a few inorganic compounds to keep the solution water soluble

focus on a more balanced organic mix than a routine supplement. with organics that seems to work better, as very few organic substances
are fast acting. aim for an all round even mix, plant in potting soil and allow the roots to grow into the supersoil mix. check out
tga subcool's super soil mix in google to get an idea

quick update:

got my safari mix seeds, and the bubblicious and 5 freebies...

planted six of the bubblicious into cocopeat and
1 cannalope kush (DNA) and one OG Kush (Reserva Privada).

also finished harvesting kali chakra, she wasn't going anywhere
the spider mites were eating her up.

Well, all the chemical nutes I'd used initially were foliar fed. So, that should not affect the soil creating a salt buildup, right?
The soil always had organic fertilizer, mixed with neem cake, cocopeat, organic-potting-mix, dry leaves of a certain plant that is commonly used in kerala for fertilization( http://aswathikasimadom.blogspot.in/2008/06/sheema-konna.html ), and so on.

When I asked the manufacturers about neoplex, they said a similar sentence. 'Mostly Organic' :D

I've read the Subcool's Super Soil topic, and liked it, and had planned to do that with the next grow attempt. Now, I'm not sure if anything coud be done as its midway in flowering. Each day the stems are getting lesser and lesser visible as buds are getting vertical-growth and filling up ;) Just waiting to see if trichome filled sugar leaves happen or not, as it's raining here! This is that sun-till-noon-rain-till-night season we call 'Thula Varsham'. A thunder and lightening filled rainy season.

I had discarded the hope that my card would ever work with international transaction! In Bangalore, I'll take an account with international banks :D Bangalore has several ;) Looking at the posts you make related to ordering and planting new seeds makes me jealous!

open another SBI account and when you open it just ensure that all the necessary things are done to make it compatible for online intl. transactions...don't need to wait...
