I've been using bottled distilled water, but plants are getting too large for that anymore. I have a 180L rain barrell in the basement beside the grow room I want to start using. i have it filled up and will let it sit for a couple of days to dissipate the chlorine some. I have to adjust the PH level obviously, but how much would I have to add?? I have a small bottle of DNF PH Down, but I'm thinking of ordering large buckets of PH Down from Ebay. Any thoughts or ideas?

yeh buddy you'd be best off with buckets if ur water is as buffered as mine..
pity u couldnt hook up ur house guttering to some pvc and catch all ur rain water into ur tank, takes barely any ph down at all to adjust.

I started 8 seeds in my 4x4 tent. They broke ground 10 days before yours did. I just upgraded to a 4x9 tent for those 8. Check out my journal.

yeh cal-mag i reckon, grab some cal mag if u can or u can use epsom salts as a foliar spray which it usually helps alot..

Grow store had no CalMag, but I added Epsom Salts, so we'll see how she goes. I put in the HPS bulb tonight and I'm start the flowering stage. All the plants are around 13" high. I was gonna go 18", but i think these girls might be monsters...so better safe than sorry. Here's some new pics and pics of my Stang. Stang is a 70, 302 motor-numbers matching. Car is very original including body, glass, etc. Ford all the way buddy!!!
Now for the girls:
180L Rain Barrell with 2 air bubblers to keep things fresh. Ditching the distilled water and going with ph'd tap water.

DAmnnnn, all im seeing is RED!! thats a beautiful example there, i got some jealousy vibes creeping up man.. You do the resto urself? .. clean as a whistle, i take it it aint ur daily driver?.. ill show my brother the pics wen he comes over, hes a Ford nut too, he'll think there teriffic
Nothin beats a BRIGHT RED muscle car.., and thats wot lifes about brother, enjoying urself in the short time we get here, livin the dream, driving fast cars woteva ur into.. lotta ppl stress and worry with little thought of how life is passing them by..
as for the cal/mag issues now that u using tap water u should be fine.. but ill stress the importance of letting tapwater sit and dissapate the chlorine man.. ah, even go ahead and mix ur nutes the day b4 so u can get a stable pH reading b4 u feed..

lol Thx for reps buddy. The car turns heads in a big way that's for sure. I didn't do the resto myself, I bought the car pretty much as is. Found the car in Las Vegas, Nevada and had it brought up here to Canada. Only thing I've added is a Flowmaster exhaust from the headers back. New Edelbrock Carb cause the other one was gummed up bad and quite old. It's definately not my daily driver like u said...she usually comes out on weekends only and only when the weather is nice. No rain or snow for this girl. It's -25C today and some snow on the ground, but she's clean, waxed, and primed sitting under a cover in my garage just waiting for the Spring.
With regards to the girls....yes I have been letting the water sit...hence the air bubblers to keep things fresh.
