Hey Baja I had a question for you, if i am planning on doing a box for flowering, how many cfl's do you think i would need for 6 plants? and what size of a box?
I was thinking something like this, but that many lights seems overkill, how many do you think would be just right?

as far as how large a space you need for 6 flowering plants I dont know but i just wanted to let you guys know,
I saw the thread of the dude who made this box here. He made it with so many sockets so he can have all these different options to set up lights so he can get even lighting for his plants, which i think is an awesome design. anyway the pic you have here is of him doing a test to see if all the sockets work and if the box can take the power ya know. So he's not using his box like this to grow. The plants would probably grow into bulbs if you grew like that. but I do like the idea though I think using clamp mights broken down to just the socket and the cord are even more versatile. With a few of thos you can hang lights EVERYWHERE. even inside your plants!

OK let me see if I can clear it up.
CFL's heat out put is extremely low. For a box that Size, a cool tube or even A/C/ Might be needed to keep it the right temps in there with a HID light set up. With CFL's it may only be necessary to have a passive intake and an exaust fan. Also you can never overkill on CFL lighting, they simply aren't powerful enough. I do However think it should have been designed with movable lights. Otherwise it is a neat and clean light set up.

We're very close on deciding where we're going to move next, the one I like the most has a nice big storage area outside where I plan to flower with the hps, can't wait!!
So what are your thoughts on the new addition? She has some yellowing on it but looks healthy, she's gonna sit in the sun for a few hours today and see if she comes alive

Supposedly that guy got 6 oz from 4 plants with the box shown above, but i was wondering if i could get a similar yield with less lights.

mayyybe, it would come down to your growing techniques i believe. may want to try and lst them or top them.

Not a whole lot to report, the clone, which my wife has now named Delilah, is outside sun bathing along with my 2nd seedling that seems to be having problems. My first seedling is looking good so far and another seed surprisingly germinated correctly and has already broken soil after one day. That's a total of 4, 3 mystery and one clone (which I forgot to ask what it was since I was too excited that he didn't charge me for it, lol)
I have started to germinate the Private Reserve. My wife and I use this strain for insomnia, imo, it's a very potent indica, better than any purple I've had. I hope it cracks and becomes a female so we can keep her as a mother

whats crazy to me is how cali people are like "yea im smokin this strain, its the shit and blah blah"
Im lucky if i can even get some random ass mids. If i want kush I can't get a name of the strain, only that its kush or headies or bc bud. I wanna know the fucking strain damn it!.

I've heard as low as $50, no check ups, cash only, just to get the money in before we legalize it. The only benefit a medical card will have is for people under the age of 21, from what I understand, even minors under the age of 18 can obtain one with parent permission, I intend to be one of those parents
