Natural Lighting - Ever Too Much?

I am scoping out a spot for my first outdoor grow (Nirvana Swiss Cheese fems). I have a field with a brook running through it. The brook is surrounded by brushy growth and areas of raspberries. Pretty much anywhere I select will be hidden and have a nice open southerly exposure. Would I be better off plant in the open raspberries where my girls will get pretty much full sun from sun up to sun down, or would I be better off back in the taller brush a little bit so the sun is somewhat filtered? I also plan on LST'ing to keep the height under control if that makes any difference.

more light = more bud :)
Actually more light less bud as the plants have to reach a certain light cycle to begin budding my friend. Marijuana plants are very resilient. Where ever you decide to plant as long as they get at least 6 hrs or full on sun you should be fine.

More lighting in veg cycel = more bud in the flower cycle

thats what he means

it's gonna depend alot on where the OP is; if he's in Texas, the july sun full-bore will fuck your plants up. ask me how i know... :(

this is also strain variable; sativas can handle the sun here but indicas can't fade it.

I dissagree a bit.

In Mid summer growth slowes way down Due to the heat an amout of water transpiration the plant is experiencing.
My plants like a bit of shade / Diffuse Light in the mid summer heat an grow better.

Uncle ben talks about it better there.

Yeah like above post said, it depends on where your at for the heat and temp to take a toll on plants. Up north it wont be as bad for full sun as a arizona sun
