Need advice

Hi all,

Made my first batch of cannabutter, all is good. What I used was water and two sticks of butter (half lb) and well over a half oz of some unsmoked bud. I must say, the smell was unpleasant while it was cooking.

My question is this: Many brownie mixes require some type of cooking oil rather than butter. Can I just substitute the butter for oil? And if so, do I use an equal amount of butter? i.e. 1/3 cup of oil, replace with 1/3 cup cannabutter.

yes and yes. just a FYI you might want to thin it out some. I made some butter with my last batch of trim, then made brownies using full strength. needless to say they Kicked my ass. just saying
