So it's officially been a month now and she's doing pretty good, at least I think. My question is how do I know if I need to add any nutrients or fertilizers? I'm just growing indoors with soil and haven't added anything or trimmed at all but I hope that you guys are understanding that this is the first time I have ever had a plant get past the cotyledon and first set of leaves so I am just trying to make sure I have the correct stuff(nutrients/fertilizer)before I get ready to switch to flower stage in a couple weeks or so any feedback would be appreciated!? Here's a few new pictures.

Is that pure sphagnum moss?
No it's all soil underneath about an inch of sphagnum moss because I had some stem stretching in the first week and was outta soil and money so my Dad had a lot of experience with growing and with sphagnum so I used it to cover the stem and it worked like a charm

She looks a bit hungry. I'd be close to full strength nutrients/ferts by now, especially if getting ready for flower!

Unfortunately I have it in a old phototron that has 3 40w U-shaped tubes t12 but I am trying to get some money to get a smaller 600w full spectrum but I just couldn't afford it and I am just curious about what is the best brand for nutrients

I just got new bulbs before the start of this grow and they were only 6 bucks so that's why I was hoping to get a nice panel led light like I said

with those u tubes, you can only grow short plants, you could try flipping it now to keep it low.

I’d recommend super cropping the main stem to a 90 degree angle, if you trust yourself, and/or top it before you flower. To maximize the amount of potential bud sites!

And also with the nutrients you should have started that a little while ago it looks like don’t wait until your plant shows deficiency. It’s harder to correct than to have too much!! I’d also invest in some great white or mykos mycorrhizal root enhancer it will really do a number in excelling the growth when you transplant or with a weekly compost tea. Other than that nice plant man keep up the good work. In the end they will only be as good as the amount of time and effort you give them!

Thanks for the feedback and I really appreciate you not being a dickhead because I have had some great people and advice but unfortunately the majority of the input in the past was very critical and basically making me feel like a piece of shit and shouldn't have tried growing marijuana. But u can see that I'm just getting acclimated to growing bud and this is the first time I have ever needed anything for the plant but I'm picking up some nutes/food for her today and will be back in a few days wish me luck

Thank you for taking time to help out a newbie and I'm just curious about one thing. My Dad has been growing for 15+ years and unfortunately his memory has been hindered by fucking Alzheimer's and he keeps telling me that I should use a little bit of fish emulsion and it's just tough for me to go ahead with it but I'm just not sure if it will help or not

I don't see why not I use fish sh!t check it out
I have a bottle of Alaska fish emulsion 5-1-1 ratio and it says 1tsp per quart of water I'm thinking about trying a ¼-½ the recommended. Any suggestions for how to use it, mist on foliage and add to soil or not?
