On point again.
Thanks. It's a pretty easy dish to make just have to do some prep work. Then it's just assembling it. You can't see it but there's a bunch of cilantro and mint in it. Pour some nuoc cham over it and it's a flavor explosion of salty, sweet, tangy, spicy. I put a decent amount of sliced Thai chiles in the nuoc cham.

One of my goals is to travel through SE Asia on a food vacation. Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, and Thailand. One of these days.

Have you tried a dish called Cha ca La Vong? Famous in Hanoi I believe.

It’s essentially shallow fried turmeric fish chunks in lime, fish sauce, chillis, peanuts, dill, coriander and mint. Very nice!

Will post it up here when wife goes shopping next

No I haven't. I had to look it up and it sounds really good. I bookmarked a couple recipes and videos.

Anything with lime, fish sauce, chillis, peanuts, dill, coriander and mint is going to be good. I have everything but the fish. I have some salmon in the freezer but I'll get some cod and make this in the near future.

You’ll love it I’m sure. Also forgot there’s lots of spring onions too. And man with fresh herbs it’s so much better than shop bought herbs. Reminds me I need to sprout some herbs for the windowsill during the winter
