Bought Dragon Fruits tonight, 1 yellow and 1 red.

We ate the yellow one just raw from the half hull/skin.

The red one was turned into Dragon Fruit Stuffed Cupcakes.

Right out of the oven with fresh, from scratch, Coconut Butter Cream Icing.

Mandarin Orange was added to the Fresh Dragon Fruit to make a curd, then used as a stuffing inside the cakes.

These 2 were sacrificed prior to posting to ensure Quality control.

I can assert that they are moist, curd filled and DELICIOUS!

These are the product of my wife and do not appear anywhere else on the net.

The yellow ones have more flavor, yeah? The pink ones just sorta taste like sweet cactus to me, not a lot of flavor, kinda ‘green’ tasting

Beautiful cupcakes by the way!

Aside from color, there were subtle differences between them.

Size, texture and ripeness makes me think they may have been picked several days to a week apart.

Both were ripe and tasted good. The noticeable difference was the yellow one offered a "ripe pear" taste and texture
when consumed. I think the yellow one had a little more age on it.

The red one was slightly more firm and the texture of the fruit was noticeably more firm and the skin was in fact smoother.
These traits make me think the red was the youngest of the two. The red was more sweet than taste full.
It reminded me of lychee. No distinct overpowering taste, just a hint, and sweet.

What Does Lychee Taste Like?
The aromatic lychee is sweet, with slightly floral and acidic notes. Upon biting, you'll get a juicy flavor burst with a taste similar to a strawberry or pear with a hint of citrus. Some also compare the floral taste to rose.

Boneless country style ribs ; ham substitute; in slow cooker with sweet baby rays honey and bottle of jalapeno hot sauce plus a Tbsp of grape jelly.

Can't buy rabbit here processed. And I hopefully never hunt again.

I didn't even look when I was there, damn.
The veggies at this one have a tendency to rot early.
Stores here holding fruits and veggies to almost turning. Then big sale placards. Buy spinach fettuccine. Then you paid for limp greens!
