27 degrees and snowing like a sob in Kentucky at daylight this morning, if any of you NE guys give a shit. The high tomorrow is forecast to be 45 so I don't see it sticking around. In fact, the entire country is supposed to see a warmup over the next 6-10 days, which is the point of my post. This map shows probabilities of temps being above or below their average and not actual temps. The 10-14 day map even has the above average temps hanging around the extreme NE, particularly Maine, NH, Vermont, Mass, CT, etc.

iam over by n Conway,i cant get any thing to veg out door until may 15 at the earlest plant go straight to flower any sooner than that I get veggies out mid late april in green house
Got me rethinking my jump start as there is no way I'm investing in lighting to extend the day during late April.

What's the earliest yall think I could go outside? Direct sow into starter pots, compensate the 3-5 days the beans will take to push thru the media

What's the snow pack up there, already thinking of spring thaw, rain and flooding
Got roughly 1.5 feet here on the mountain, been a sparse year for snow but it's definitely still here

I can usually jump off my roof after shoveling it off..I couldn't do that currently nor have I even had to roof rake at all

Hey all. Glad to get going again. I did alright last season. Almost a lb. & thats after some1 stole all my tops. But that's good for me. Enough to make it through the year.

This year I think I may be going to an old spot. Obviously my new spot sucked. & I'm trying out a few new strains. Medical grade, high cbd low thc. So we'll see how that goes.

Gotta find something pics

Thanks for the input guys I'm gunna go with femaleseeds purple maroc and wait till May 10 or so to pop em. I didn't know female seeds outdoors were semi autos but outta the Netherlands, way more climatized than seeds from Spain

How big r the holes u guys dig? 2 wide by three deep?

I think one of the Stumbleberry (Getaway strain) phenos I have is "semi-auto" if you will, due to the Iranian genetics in her background. Three other phenos remained in veg with 18 hours light, while a 4th is trying to flower anyway. I believe what they mean by "semi-auto" is a plant with a mixed bag of short day and auto flowering genes.

What do you mean by semi autos ?
They got some ruderalis somewhere in their genes to shorten up flowering time while remaining a photoperiod or light sensitive plant, in theory.

People say they are a little cunty to keep in veg with lack of sunlight in the early spring hence waiting until mid may, when days are at least 15~ hours of Sun or more to try and prevent the plant from skipping veg and going straight to flower
