They got some ruderalis somewhere in their genes to shorten up flowering time while remaining a photoperiod or light sensitive plant, in theory.

People say they are a little cunty to keep in veg with lack of sunlight in the early spring hence waiting until mid may, when days are at least 15~ hours of Sun or more to try and prevent the plant from skipping veg and going straight to flower
thanks for the answer man that does make sense to me now

Hey bc,thanks for joining in.what do you have on your menu for this year?
My main crop is gonna be seawarp this year. I love everything thing about this strain. I'll also be running getaways swamp skunk again and hopefully I won't screw them up this time. I won't be running either the white grizzly or the purple pine berry this year. I've had enough of the grizzly the past few years and I don't like worrying about the mold and ppb just takes too long for my short season. I have some more revolver and candy cane autos plus some autoxphoto beans I made last year I'll run for an early crop. Hopefully they'll carry the auto genes. I haven't decided what else to run yet but I better get on it! Any suggestions? I'm really into citrus flavors but haven't found any real citric early strains yet. I think I'm gonna have a later start than usual because of the schedule I'm on, but I'm gonna try and plan it so I can startem on time and use capillary mats to help with seedling stage so my wife can look after them while I'm away.

I'm trying a few Lemon Skunk this year and praying for that citrus smell/taste. Any experience
with them?

Just went out for a toke and walked the pooch, raining and 45°, slush everywhere, and I can see ground at some spots already
You guys down in new england are arround 2-3 weeks earlier spring weather than up here,, judging by that ,, i would say that mid may on average is safe to plant and occasionaly late april early may ,, but i think its worth waiting until the end of may , i have planted in early july with great results,
