Wow u got alot of bulbs lol fair play u must be a pro getting that the right temp,so when you say canopy is that the top and every where I read they say don't go above 82 other wise they jus wont grow is this not tru and as for air moving I think that seems key so may invest in a better fan so the air moves around better seein that you said 88 is ok

i have hit into the mid 90' i notice that its harder to keep up with watering tho they seem to transpire alot more in that few degrees of temp shift

88 should be fine. FOR FLOWERING AND VEGGING... TRY RUNNING YOUR LIGHTS AT NIGHT AND SEE WHAT KINDA TEMPS YOU GET.

I have a old wolfnado-100mm-2-speed-fan could I not use this for sucking air from the outside &blowing it in2 the tent would this be the same as inline fans cheers
That is an online fan, your 150mm carbon fan should be two speed, use that as extraction on full blast, noisy! But effective, your 100mm walfanado fan ducted to a fresh air source is fine too,get an oscillating fan, minimum 12" to move the stale air and get a decent sized piece of cardboard to shade your thermometer,I'm guessing your problem lies in the fact your thermometer is directly exposed to yours lights radiant heat, thermometers are made to measure ambient(air) temperature, radiant heat heats the plastic throwing your reading sky high. I have similar sized tent with 2 600w hps, 150mm two speed carbon exhaust and a 125mm intake from window, shielded my thermometer and air temps are roughly 75f-85f depending on outside temp and what setting I switch exhaust too. You'll see! You'll probably not have to use intake once you shield thermometer!, not until your canopy fills the tent, you do need oscillating fan though. Good growing, Kenny ken.

Plants can withstand more radiant heat than ambient, though don't be tempted to lower your light too far, make sure your canopy has even coverage and look out for signs of heat stress, I.e. Bleaching etc. Seeing as you are in a loft, I guess here in gold old Blighty, once your thermometer is shielded you'll see temps of 65f and be horrified! Hehe! Adjust intake and exhaust speed accordingly. All will be well. Weed is one hardy plant, just don't let them get cold at night ( lights off period) go to Argos and buy their own brand cheap panel heater, perfect! Only about £45. Let us me and our American allies know how you're going/growing! ;-) Kenny ken

Ok brilliant thanks alot about shading the thermometer I also use a probe I think it's ment to go in soil but I use by jus sticking it in through where the zip is as would of thought that would be accurate, also will defiantly get a 12" fan today cheers for all your help guys will keep u posted

Hi all got a 12" circulating fan today, also made a unit for the filter to fit in so there is only a hole at the top facing the open window so hot air now goes straight out & not direct in2 the room as relised it was so was making the room warm,I have also moved the ducting which air gets pulled through in2 the tent direct to window as was a little bit away from openin now is running 82 so thanks for ya tips will hopefully upload pics soon cheers
