NFTG. Nectar For The Gods

Are you guys using NFTG for quality and flavor? That‘s why I chose it and curious if you notice a difference from your previous nutes…and also, if you have to use the full line. I’m only using the sample kit so there is a lot missing, but wondering if the quality will still be apparent. Or if it’s all just bullshit and just depends on the dry and cure.

Well my 1st grow I used the whole Fox farm line and my yields were there but the quality wasn't that great. A few guys I know recommended nectar so I went with it and have used the Roman regimen for the last three grows.on my 2nd one I even did the same strain and a side-by-side with Fox farm and nectar and the nectar plant turned out so much better. I'm using it for quality. Terps and potency. I was never expecting to get huge yields but now that I know how to work the line I'm getting them. I veg my plans for 8 weeks and get a pound off my plants but I'll use a lot of BK and a lot of bone meal. The quality is most important for me.

I did want to get number four soil but for some reason I don't know if it was how it was packed or how old it is but people are having problem with the number for that my grow store has. People are doing slurries before they plant in it and the pH was coming out in the high eights. I don't know I could have remedied this but didn't really want to deal with it and I like Coco loco anyways so I just went with the loco.

Using nectar I've really learned how to grow. No it's not easy and it takes time but the end result is well worth it and so is the knowledge you gain along the way. Well, and I asked @bubba73 questions almost everyday for a couple years Lol. Read through this whole thread I think I've asked about every question. A big thing I eventually realized is it's not how many nutrients you can throw at your plants it's more about simply just keeping them as healthy as you can.

Hey I was wondering I want to take extra precautions against powdery mildew so I was thinking of doing a routine foliar of the Lost Coast I bought. Just wondering how that would work with me foliar feeding every day.

I'm thinking about getting a 6-in HEPA filter to go with my spare 6-in in line fan and just running the grow room with my tent in it. May cut back on foliar feeding everyday I feel like that helps the powdery mildew out. Do a routine spray of Lost Coast also. Going to want to get a UV light bar to run for a little bit every day also. The cleanliness of my bud that I smoke plays a big part in the quality. One of the main reasons I'm growing for myself is so I know what's been done to the plants and if there's been any type of mold or mildew.

I decided to start because after it became legal quality went to shit because everyone was getting supplied by these instagram growers that use horrendous PGR’s. All the bud from everyone who sells around here was suddenly all the same. Giant buds, little to no smell, tons of trichomes, odd spongy feel, oddly dark orange to red hairs. It’s a plague. I still have a Blue Dream that looks like it was rolled in keif inside and out and abnormally large buds, smells like they used fish tank water on them. Also have a Skittles that had dark orange/red hairs, almost no smell, and was spongy. After sitting for 6 months the buds are still spongy as if they are still wet, like they won’t dry out but anything else would be bone dry in the same conditions.

After some research I found that these were all grown with dangerous ornamental plant PGRs. All the bud in my area is like this now. It’s disgusting. Everyone else is like “yooo look how big these buds are, covered in trichomes” and I’m like “yeah they look like they were 3D printed out of cardboard with unnatural production of trichomes that look more like keif and either smell like chemicals or have no smell at all” fuck all that noise. Growing myself I know that nothing in my bud is going to give me insta-cancer or kill me.

Yup that's why I'm doin it. I wanted something with true medical effects and I feel like when we're using full spectrum lights and pretty much a full spectrum soil we're getting full spectrum cannabinoids that's kind of how I think of it. A lot of the bud Ive bought looked and smelled great but I feel like a lot of it's harvested early, when I smoke it I get all paranoid and jittery and can't even sleep even with the indicas LOL. Not what I'm looking for. Ever since I started growing it myself with these nutes I actually know what good weed is now.

lost coast .. gotta read up on it ….
Yeah man lost coast saved my ass. It's expensive and probably could have found the ingredients in my kitchen but it worked great and I guess it is worth it because it makes a lot. You can use it all the way up until harvest.IMG_20220928_123453.jpg

Started incorporating KnF LAB to my water instead of sls100. Reallllllly liking the results. It seems more effective than sls.

I also added a top cover/mulch and the soil is so much more alive. Downside is my soil is never bone dry, and is covered in mycelium so I can’t really do a slurry.

I’m trying to cut down on expensive bottles and enjoy the whole self sufficient ideology.

I looked into Korean natural farming method and it seems to be really expensive. Unless you have a garden with sweet potatoes and strawberries and mangos etc.

LAB is straight forward. 2qts of milk + rice wash water made 2 qts of LAB. Add equal parts brown sugar if you store at room temp.
