Night or Day

Keeping absolute stealth in mind, when would be the best time to perform routine maintenance. A night vision setup I believe would give a considerable advantage. Everyone has to worry about thieves in addition to everything else. When the time comes to prune or whatever, would that be advisable?

After doing my trips during day in the beginning i thought too it might be stealthier at night, well to make a long story short i got to my plants a little after dusk and was slippin and trippin over myself, almost broke my fuckin ankle, didn't even make it to my last spot, so now i'll only go during the day, hope that helped, good luck brotha

Well thats good and bad, sorry about your ankle bro. My logic behind a night vision device is precisely this. The only time you can really be in trouble is when you are on location right? Obviously there should be zero evidence at your site. At night there is zero chance of being spotted by choppers and whoever might find you would be at a considerable disadvantage. I might just consider it a business expense and throw down for one. I don't like to take a lot of chances, and as many as I can minimize the better.

The only time you can really be in trouble is when you are on location right?......NO DUE TO HAVING THINGS ON U LIKE NUTES CLONES TOOLS ETC.... Obviously there should be zero evidence at your site. At night there is zero chance of being spotted by choppers and whoever might find you would be at a considerable disadvantage............UNLESS THEY ALSO HAVE NIGHT VISION TOO......... I might just consider it a business expense and throw down for one. I don't like to take a lot of chances, and as many as I can minimize the better.
PLUS SUM NIGHT VISION WILL PUT OF THAT GREEN LIGHT,,,CAN BE SEEN BY OTHER,,,ALSO HOW MANY OTHER POEPLE WILL BE RUNNING AROUND WITH NIGHT VISION ON TOO?

BEST THING I THINK IS IN DAY TIME TAKE THINGS LIKE FISHING POLE OR A GOLD PAN, OR CAMRA ECT HAVE IT SO IF PEOPLE SEE U THEY SEE IT ASWELL, THEN WILL LIKE THINK YOUR OF TAKING PHOTO'S OR FISHING ECT,,

hmm.. what do you mean by night vision set-up? At first I assumed goggles which I guess would be cool if you had 1000$ to chuck down.

I have a friend who routinely trained with night vision in Iraq. His set up was a monocular, this enabled him to have one eye with natural night vision and the other electronically enhanced. He even got to the point where he could drive a vehicle on night vision alone. The infared setups use a infared lamp to illuminate a small area. This light would be invisible to the human eye but would show up on infared cameras. It would be safer to store all materials on site and camoflaged. In transit there would be a potential for trouble. I can simply take my body to the site and be ready for action.

Okay boys and girls this is how some night vision goggles work. Do you know your remote control? That little diode on the front is for infared light. You can't see the light with your eyes but is still there. Our eyes are unable to see certain wave lengths of light, outside the range of blue and red. Infared night vision uses a infared light to illuminate the area ahead. The infared night vision also has a camera to detect this infared light and convert it into light that our eyes can see. That's what they use on reality shows when they show people at night. The only disadvantage of this system is in real combat anyone could see the infared light being emitted and could close on your position. In this situation I'll be the only person with an infared night vision set up, so only I'll be able to see it.
