Ok I guess I should share my way of cloning with everyone, it is ghetto but works very well
Here is what you need, first get your favorite soda in 3 liter bottles, I said fav so you'll drink it but I guess I should also share that the bottles need to be clear (so 7up and mountaindew are no no's) empty em clean em cut the tops off right where they cruve into the bigger body of the bottle, you now have your humidity domes (one for each clone)
now get a simple (not fancy) kitty liter tray (box) and a bag of PLAYGROUND sand go to home depot (or similar store) and tell em you are building a sandbox for your kids it has to be clean sand and play sand is, do not ask if any sand is ok IT'S NOT! IT HAS TO BE CLEAN SAND! THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!
Fill the kitty liter tray with the sand to about an inch from the top needs to be 3 to 4 inches deep pick your tray with this in mind (I have gotten big rubbermaid tubs and cut them to be 6 inches deep they work well just cost more but you can get a bigger tray by doing this)
Now add water ph'd to around 6.5 to 6.8 and fill your sand pit till you see water if you push on the sand IOW just looking at the sand you should NOT see water but if you just push on it with your finger water should well up around your finger. You need to wait till the sand pit is at room temp should be at least 75F, if you don't want to turn your heat up get a temp controled heat mat and put under it. put a thermometer in the sand so you know for sure.
I have found that the best place for it is near a window that gets a lot of indirect sun exposure during the day but flouro lights will work
Cut your clones do the gel/powder thing and poke a hole in the sand (I use a pencil) put the cutting in the sand push sand around the stem and cover with 3 liter bottle
With this method you do not need to mist em the bottle pushes into the sand/water to make a airtight seal and it will naturally be humid inside because of the water in the tray and the temp. It takes 2 to 3 weeks to get roots but you can pull em out to check em and simply put em back after looking the sand is loose so no problem. You also have to check the water level and add water as needed (do the finger push thing)
I started using this method years ago to clone trees to make a wind break in my yard (after checking price at nursery) and it was 100% successful, I saved a lot of money getting my trees
