Nute off!! Advanced nutrrient's vs cutting edge vs fox farm.

Those water crytal's are a must have outside.
I actually use them to stretch my ona gel farther.
You can just buy the ona refill bottle and use the water crystal's
That stuff get's rid of any smell fast!!!!!!!
So you think I should just do like 20% vermiculite?
 
For those of you who asked for it well here it is.
I just got confermation that H&G will be a contestant in the grow off.
Still working on getting some Humboldt nute's. And posibly BMO.
I am tryin.
 
sweet thread dude but an will win hands down i have grown for 5 years non stop and im a bit of a compulsive shopper i will try everything to find the best you match bud factor x with bud candy plus sensi bloom and sensi grow parts 1and 2 of each for proper stages you will get 30%more bud with a 10% minimun upgrade in thc content:eyesmoke: and buds that taste like candy :mrgreen:for real just remember to buy there flush to dont waste your monry on other shit i found hollands secret to be the best on a budget fertilizer buy all 3 parts then get a carbo load or bud candy it will prodduce nice if your on a budget but if money is no concern pick up an for sure easiest best product on market both today and yesterdaybongsmilie
 
Liking this thread, using Fox Farm nutes in a soil grow currently. Looking forward to seeing how all of this pans out.

Been reading riu for a little while now and just starting to post. Excellent resources and a good vibe ;)

If you want to get the best medium for a test you want to choose something totally inert. I think coco fiber would be the best with some pearlite to air it up. This way your plants don't draw any nutes out of your medium that you do not control.

I am preparing to do a nute test. And would like some input,ideas or feedback.

I am a bit undicided on what to use for a medium.
My normal growing style is to veg with 50\50 ocean forest with light warrior. Veg for six weak's with no added nute's untill flower.
Then I start my feeding schedule.
I do not think that is a ideal method to truly get good test result's from.
What do you Think? I do not want to go hydro. Maybe a slight hydro but still want to hand water.
The optoin I am liking best is using sunshine mix #4 and feeding all the way through.
Do you think straight sunshine mix or a mixture with perlite and vermiculite. Any tip's for using it also appreciated.
The other posible option is coco.
How do you prepare coco? I have seen some mentoin's of special prep method's for it. Any opinion's?

I am planning to have the test started within 2 weak's.

I agree and have decided to go with pro mix #4 plus a little vermiculite.

yes, however, you have to take into account the FACT that some nutrients FF for example, are designed and formulated specifically to be used with specific kinds of soil, and to truely compare these nutrients, you must compare them in the way they were intended to be used, otherwise, you will not get the same results, ;)
 
Yeah I have been doing so much reading.
And from what I have found the feeding schedule for fox farm has veg weak's included. For use with nutrient free soil's many people use fox farm with pro mix#4.
The pro mix seem's to be the most versatile.
My big delima now is if I run my drip system again or not.

what other lines of nutrients have you used?
what were you using b4 u got the 30% increase?
if AN gives 30% better results than H&G or Canna than i will be all over it.

i cant wait to see what happens here boss.

This test will decide who I go with.

interesting... ive never heard of hollands secret...

when i did H&G vs. Canna and H&G won..... im pretty sure it was because H&G has a strong flowering boost and canna does not... BUT with canna, i can reuse the coco and with H&G i cant.
 
My plan is 2 weak's from this past wednesday.
I am going to give alot of attention to posting very detailed test.

i think i would like to watch this. i have always used GH 3 part for my aero grows but so many people have so many good things to say about AN.....
