Looking forward to pics :).. If i remember right .. your only running 1 light? Can you do scrubber----- hood----- inline fan ---- exhaust out of room?

I only ask because as you stated that you have re arranged your tent over and over.. I DID THE SAME THING LOL.. i mean prob 1000x... Getting 2000 watts to stay cool in a little tent was a bitch.. and its crazy how much little things here and there can swing the temps 5 degrees... only reason i bring this up iiiisssss...

I did what you are planning to do .. and this was my experience..
I had 1 inline 6 inch fan.. At first ( before electrician came)... I could only run 1 light... SO i had it setup with scrubber at top of tent>>>>>hood>>>>inlinefan>>>>exhaust out of room. This worked awesome... BUT LOL

Then when I got my 240 wiring done.. I added my other 1000 watter in... I tried a 1000 ways to get that one fan to do everything .. and I couldnt.. I think with the single hood setup .. what I mentioned above will work for you perfectly.. and the filter will "help" keep dust out of your glass in your hood... Let me elaborate why I think this is your optimum setup for only having 1 inline fan

This is what I did.. I tried to get a Y splitter like u mentioned in the post above.. I had it setup EXACTLY like you mentioned.. One side pulling from the carbon filter.. the other pulling fresh air through the hoods to remove heat from the bulbs..
HERE IS THE PROBLEM.. That carbon filter is packed with .. WELL carbon lol.. and it is a bitch to pull air through.. this is what is gonna happen.. it did it to me :(. Once you put your fan on that y connector.. its going to try to pull air from your hood and from your scrubber.. the hoods have really NO Resistance .. and the air can flow through them easily.. The carbon scrubber is resistant and air will not wanna flow through it. So basically .. the inline fan is gonna pull TONS of air through your hoods.. because its easier.. and hardly ANYTHING from the scrubber.. causing your temps to rise and your air exchange to be horrible

Im just sharing this with you because I have been there and it was a pain in the ass... ESPECIALLY once I already had all the plants in there.. You have to move them all out of the way.. so you dont drop or harm them.. it sucks.. Im pretty sure if you have a 6 inch or better inline fan you can run a single exhaust with no troubles... Carbon Scrubber>>>>hood>>>>inlinefan>>>exhaust out of room... the >>>> are ducting and airflow direction.

Sorry that i went on like this.. I know you didn't ask for help with this.. I just remember allllll the headaches I had trying to tune my setup in.. and now I think I got it as good as I can for what I have... maybe my mistakes and experiences can save you some headaches :)

I appreciate teh advice. I was also thinking about the y split and that difference last night and had made up my mind to put it inline. I feel like I need a stronger fan lol. Mine is 449 cfm which is about right for the setup. I want a better exchange though. I will be heading down to get the stuff I need soon and will pick a charger up as well. Pics will be coming shortly :}

Trim work.

Skywalker

She is my favorite, so beautiful. They will definitely have to be flipped on the next Rez change. One of the Platinum is 16" already. I will be cutting it close on height. This weekend means: a reservoir change, new carbon filter hooked up to ducting, putting in bamboo for support, maybe putting in the trellis for support. Any suggestions or comments about initiating flowering and such?

I will have a better update when it gets later on in the week. I got a new bulb and it is sooooo much brighter than the old bulb. I was stupid to think there was any juice in the old bulb. Another lesson learned, I had been worried about it when I started, but with all the other problems it got lost in there.

You have a busy weekend indeed, but all of the hard work will pay off in the end.

I don't know about working out for me. It is certainly giving me a workout haha. How are your preparations going? You know you could start a generally about each step you get finished.

The Bamboo stakes are 2ft. to give you a reference.

My girl is too big!

Ps Gave them flower nutes tonight, so I am considering today as Day 1 flowering. Using the Canna Aqua line w/ Rhizotonic, Cannazym, Pk 13/14 (this week only), I put a little algeacide/fungicide in there. I only went half strength tonight and I feel like that is still quite a bit. PPM 1150, Ph 5.8, EC 2.3, 73F (water temp).

I fixed my CO2 bottle...it's the DIY 2lt bottle/yeast deal...I still don't think it's working. I don't see any bubbles in the indicator. I put 2 tbsp of Brewer's Yeast, 1 cup of sugar and filled the bottle halfway with tepid (warm) water. Can anyone help with why this might not be working properly?

Mine too. Specifically the one phenotype. The other Skywalker I have is real scrawny.

Looking good Lantern, nice and green.....Good luck with the diy co2, they usually don't produce enough to make a difference, and they get a little stinky...Maybe brew up a big batch of beer then you'll have something....
