Life is a gamble my friend and it's not one any of us are gonna win. Unless i am on life support and/or unconsious i won't be staying in a hospital.

That gamble is with the money that I pay, so because I am now a republican, or independant w/e, I say you need to get out of my pocket! Be responsible and plan ahead, because I don't want to pay for your gamble.

But I guess if every american had insurance then that would mean that the gamble is mitigated over the entire population, so it would be very cost efficient, and we would all be able to keep more of our money. So if that happens your all good.

I'd probably vote for this too, if I had sick people constantly lobbying me in congress.

It's a small problem that only needs a small solution, but forcing anyone to buy anything they don't want is wrong.

That is easy to say when you are healthy and conscious. But if you are bleeding out of your skull and unconscious and put in a chopper and getting treatment for a car accident, it is not so clear cut.

At that point all your money is gone, and we will have to pay for your gamble.

Well, i guess thats just a .00000001% chance we'll have to take.........or reality sets in and dad calls my Super Rich aunt and she slaps down a spare million to pay for my intensive care and a get well card......

I get that your just trying to make a point in general (and use me to make it) but still, l i don't wanna have to pay for goverment run health care I don't want and WONT use...... :peace:
