i like it. keep lid on jar and keep box partly open. no smell. works great, when i open the jar. Its a gnarly shot of stanky goodness into my face. makes buds stinkier faster. definitely preserves taste, smell and potency.

I found as soon as it froze there was no smell at all. I don't keep it in the fridge, always freezer! I've switched to using mason jars with no lids on them, I'll take some picks of the C99 I still have in the freezer

yeah I got you guys.....it's in an closed fish stick box from trader joes:) it's seems that my freezer/refrigerator are connected through the same cooling channels (it's in the freezer but when I open the refrigerator it stinks)
and it's brand new.....very strange, probably right that it will dissipate ina couple of days.....hopefully

freeze drying

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chuño
...
After harvest, potatoes are selected for the production of chuño, typically small ones for ease of processing. These small potatoes are spread closely on flat ground, and allowed to freeze with low night temperatures, for approximately three nights.
Between the freezing nights, they are exposed to the sun, and they are trampled by foot. This eliminates what little water is still retained by the potatoes, and removes the skins, enabling subsequent freezing.
After this, they are exposed to the cold for two additional nights.

Hmm that is quite a difference. Freezer cure looks like it preserves a lot of what the bud looked like when it was freshly harvested. I would also like to know if they taste any different, also if you have the time can you take some pics of the cured purps like the c99 pics? Thanks BTW very jealous lol

Very cool Beef, do they smoke any different?
Haven't had the pleasure of trying the freezer yet. Upon closer inspection, the buds I left out appear to be dry enough to smoke! (The were 'dry' enough before to some people, I'm just a bit snobby in that respect :D)

Ok, so I love me some good whiskey! Picked up a bottle of 18 year old Gibsons to sip on... quite smooth, pleasant oaky-ness to the finish. Not my favorite, but a great all around whiskey!

Looks tasty! Do all your air dry buds look like that?
Yep! :) I'm telling you guys the C99 is frickin' incredible smoke. Takes my breath away, and that's saying something when it comes to me! Very cerebral, I could see people who get paranoid easily not liking it as it might be too 'intense' in that sense. I find it a great day time bud, I don't get red eye, or saggy eyes from it.

The purps is still sticky on the inside, I need to let it dry more.... smoke report on that soon!
