Right about CA$3.25, in fact.$3 US....lol...
There's a buttplug thread around here somewhere...I was being an ass...
Or, conversely, they all band together like the oil companies to keep the price artificially high to keep investors happy. If they all charge $10/g for bulk, the province is forced to pay it. I don't see the LP's getting into a race to lower revenues. They hold all the cards right now and can charge whatever they like - and if they collaborate, a provincial retail monopoly has to pay whatever they demand and work their business model around that.

who here actually thinks they want to get rid of the BM? Like really ..where have you all been? Not paying attention? They don't want it to go away....While I would not dispute the possibility of them drafting a nationwide agreement to support artificially high prices, I just don't see this being practical, especially for the few LP'S who a ticipated this and are trying to distance themselves from the others. They are some of the largest producers and an agreement would only serve to hinder their success. Plus keeping prices high will ensure that the blackmarket continues to thrive.
It will be very interesting to see how all of this shakes out, for LP's, Med, Rec, blackmarket and so on.
The only thing LPs are worried about in all this is that the provinces who have already spoken up are going to price their cannabis far lower then they expected and cut into their gouging of a marketWhile I would not dispute the possibility of them drafting a nationwide agreement to support artificially high prices, I just don't see this being practical, especially for the few LP'S who a ticipated this and are trying to distance themselves from the others. That's my point. It will seperate those who can offer product for cheap, hence pushing those who are not fiscally responsible and efficent out or to adapt. The only thing LPs are worried about in all this is that the provinces who have already spoken up are going to price their cannabis far lower then they expected and cut into their gouging of a market
Except our government has allowed LPs to artificially inflate their values through stock offerings. So it will be investors who suffer(shoulda chose a sure thing) not Lps unfortunately. As much as Id like to see thatThat's my point. It will seperate those who can offer product for cheap, hence pushing those who are not fiscally responsible and efficent out or to adapt.
Sounds like something the free market could fix. Oh wait, thats not a monopoly..........Itd be too hard to have former government officials at EVERY LP if everyone was allowed to become an LPAs I've asked before, how low can the black market go? If LPs can't compete, well, they can't compete...it will only be the government's fault when this fails.
I made it as far as Christian Numerologist and shut that shit down hard lol
