PC GROW (pics) looking for tips on my LST and what I can do better to minimize growth

Thank you for checking this out. I try to give you guys a few angles and also how much room I have left in my box. Currently, i have my plant on the two books...should I keep it there until it gets closer to the lights or drop it down? I topped it once, not sure if it worked out alright though. I'm thinking I should definitely switch to flower now given how small my box is, what do you think? I have in 4x 2700k lights and could flip to 12/12 starting today if advised. I'm going to start using nutes soon, but my plant is bursting daily so I'm thinking the ocean forest soil still has nutes. I really dont want it to grow much in terms of veg growth, I just want it to start getting buds. That being said, should i use some all purpose 24/8/16 nutes or go straight to my 15/30/15 nute + ph testing + lighting switch? I REALLY don't want my plant to ever come close to the lights for a fire hazard, but what do you guys think given my pics? Thanks again! Also, they're probably like a month and 1 or 2 weeks from seed

Edit: does it look like I topped it right? I"m not sure if those guys are two tops now, and if so...should i top it again or is that a bad idea considering I want it to flower faster to minimize the chance of it hitting the lights? Also if you need another angle let me know and I'll take it for you

Nope keep it as close to the light as poss with out burning , to reduce stretching so your good.. Yes i agree you should flower now too , I would use the 15-30-15 starting with 1/4 strength... You should be good , as she grows in flower you can always continue to lst her to control her hieght.

How is my LST so far and should i do more of it? For example with those two tops in the 2nd picture from the right, should i bend those guys over?

I'll be away for about 6 days, but i'm switching my timer to 12/12 and i put in all 2700k lights for flowering. I dont want to start with nutes before I leave as i'm paranoid about my girl getting big and hitting the lights while im gone and can't LST. Will it really matter if I dont start nutes RIGHT as i change it's light cycle? I feel my ocean farm probably has enough nutes for a few days so I doubt she will starve lol. I plan on giving her a good watering the day I leave. Another question, when plants get all that darkness from 12/12, do they naturally explode upwards in growth?

Looks great man!
I would wait a bit for your 2 new tops to grow so you can grab them good and pull over, but keep her as close to the lights as possible as cocakola said.......Will keep your stretching to a min.

Your ok you can wait till you get back to start the nutes , yup they do expolde. You will def see a big diff when you get back and I would'nt keep her on the books either cuz she wil def reach the light and burn but when you leave her further away she is going to strecth more. Your better letting her stretch Imo....

plant looks nice and healthy ready to switch, I actually build stealth boxes and sell them on ebay daily, for your light (fire) issue, get a piece of plexy glass to fit under the light, works great, also cant tell about your tops yet, but the way to grow in a pc box, especially since you seem to like the LST method, grab the biggest greenest leaf and pull it all the way over so the stalk is nearly sideways and tape the end of it to the pot, without breaking it of coarse, then let the bottom see the light for 2-3 days, then keep doing that every other day with other leaves and itll bush out and stay shorter, then instead of topping it again, all the bottom growth will become tops, but you wont need to stress it out by cutting it any more, LOOKS GREAT GOOD LUCK!!!

coca i really don't want it to stretch! What if I just take the one book away and let it sit on the other one? Will it really grow 3-4 inches upwards in the matter of 6 days?

hydro, so basically the idea is to let the light hit all the underleaf, but i have a question is it possible to OVER stress my plant and it will go herm or whatever? Also what about cutting some of the leaves off to allow for the light to better hit the bottom? What methods do you normally use to make a bushy ass but short plant? And what methods have you tried without much success?

I'm trying to use LST to move as many big leaves out of the way as possible to hit the smaller nodes. Is it possible to lst TOO much resulting in a herm? I'm bending some of the side stems parallel...not taking any guy standing straight up and bending it upside down though. I'll send a pic of my LST from what I just did now. Some of the leaves are folded and i im trying to tuck some of the fingers of the leaves UNDER the nodes as well ..kind of having the plant LST itself. Ill put up pics iin a few hours...i really want to minimize how long the plant grows, does LST/cutting fan leaves/topping increase the amount of time the plant takes to finish flowering?

I have another question lol...ok, the 3rd picture from the left looking down at the plant. to try and stop the plant from growing upwards too fast, can i take more wire and LST those two tops sideways? Basically bend them both going long ways across my container?

Theres really nothing you can do she's gonna grow and yes 3-4 inches in 6days is more than possible.. Yes it is poss to over stress her , NOOO Do Not Cut any leaves. You can train her to get more light under or add more light anythinng but butchery lol.. Methods , lst , fim , topping , super crop etc... and they all have there pros & cons it what works best for the grower...

Just dont stress her out too much during flowering , especially the later weeks..

Update: I think a week in a half in to flower.

Using MG bloom nutes now...water once every other day...too much ya think? In the third picture im guessing that's my main cola? Im trying to LST her down is that good(pic 5)? THere are a few node sites beneath her that I thought might be smart to get more light to(pic 4), any ideas from the pics? Thanks!

If you get the main stalk pulled over, all the side growth will become good branches, giving you more large buds instead of popcorn.
Once in the final pot, you can even train the main stalk to go around your pot in a circular direction, and limit your height that way.

I kept bending main stems down as low as I could without snapping them and used wool to keep them down in my pc/server grow.

You can see the wool on this photo nicely.

Middle pot, the head hanging over the left side is the main stem.
edit: I did this just before watering as the plant is most flexible when it is thirsty.

Ok. So I'm not training the main stem hard enough you guys are saying? I know LST means LOW stress training, so I didn't want to be too rough. From the pictures, how much further should i drag the main stem down?

Any idea how many more weeks it will take for me to harvest? Two things: Is watering every OTHER day with 1/4 strength of my bloom nutes ok? Also, does more lumens = faster grow? I had an idea if I could find a straight desk lamp, I could put in a CFL(it would be a 6500k light is that bad???) to hit the plant from the side. ANy idea if this would be worth it and where I could find a cheap one?

Go to goodwill, or salvation army things and look for used lamps the size you want.
6500 wouldn't hurt.
If you just put into flower, could be anywhere from 8-12 weeks depending on the plant.

damn so long...so from seed to harvest could be 4 months for the size of a PC grow? that seems like way too long. I did find a way to prop up a light i had to put a CFL....my box is running about..7800 lumens
