lol nah it was like -40 windows were up!

-40?? Omg!! Is that F? I've never been in such cold. It's 13C/ 55F here. The winter has been so mild. I can even ride the bike easily at night without it getting chilly.

Everything is going well with Monty. Minky keeps a comfortable distance of 1.5 M minimum. He's started to guard the house already by growling and barking. He's getting protective when we're out too. I've noticed that's he's fine with other dogs but if they go bounding towards me he races over, just to check. It's a week tomorrow and he's really bonding to me. As for me, I'm in love! :)

I nearly got attacked by a Shepherd in the actual training school when I was 12 and before I even realised that this dog was going for me, my Shepherd jumped in and attacked it. The dog didn't like children but still! Dogs are very smart like that.

what do you mean contributing factor?

like he got too many? My dog can devour a two foot rawhide bone in like two hours...that's why I went to the pigs ears. I didn't like the idea of him eating so much like that.

I give my boy pigs ears several times a week.
He chewed on those constantly! Pig ears he didn't care for, don't know why. We gave him good food, but even that I don't know about. IF we were to get another we'd feed from the veggie section at the local store. That and some real meat.

With dog food it's important to watch the protein content, some have more than dogs need. Another good read is what dogs can and can't eat. There's some veggies that you would think would be good for dogs because it's a vegetable but in reality they can cause serious damage! Only reason I say this is because I lost my first dog a little over a year ago, when he was dying I didn't know what was wrong so googled just about every scenario I could think of lol...turned out he had cancer real bad, just was his time. It was super hard to break the habit, but my dogs very rarely will get anything besides dog food and dog treats for good behavior now.

I hear you. What I came to see was that the effort we put into fixing his meals fresh for him in his last months was something I wish I would have done from the start. We have some friends on the holistic side and were presented with great info so it was a little easier to do the right thing. He went for the same reason as yours. Sucks eh?
