That ash catcher is similar to the one I had on my Illy up until a week ago when somebody broke it. I'm pretty sure the "second" chamber is just to catch overflow for if you fill the water level too high. It always seemed to work that way for me, but I could be wrong.ditto. and a fucking safe. When I get my illy I'm going balls deep.

i can give a tour...of what i know
ok first
ash catchers are basically another little bubbler added to the front that catch the ash out of the bowl so it doesnt get in the actual bong water
there are diffusers which are downstems that have either holes or slits cut into them
they spread they smoke out evenly in the water and it helps the smoke be smoother
percs are basically the same thing but in the tube.
there are 2 types
dome percs
which are just a dome shape
and tree percs
which looks like a tree with 3 stems coming down
and then theres a splashguard in some bongs like phx usually at the top
and ice nodes always go on top
some of this may be wrong but its how everything is to my knowledge
feel free to make any corrections or explain things more anyone...
