Preperations for the hole!

what are the preperations you take during/after digging your holes?

example: fish, warm casting, etc.

If your outside, the old fish adage is good, decomposing animals provide tons of nutes and micro fauna in the soil. otherwise i just use a good soil and soak it really good after the transplant.

so u just dig a hole put a fish in it and put some better soil pack in the hole to fill it up?

leave your prepped holes without plants in them for a week or two so that if animals decide to dig in your holes to investigate, your plants wont be ruined. this goes especially if you plan to use organics and dead fish, animals goes crazy over the smells, once they have checked it out and discovered that there is no food, its unlikey that they will mess with it again.

Perlite (more air to the roots)
chicken manure
compost
bone meal
you can use a mixture of good soil and the original dirt

look for the thread 04username started he did the "big hole method" and he shows how he prepped the whole step-by-step. i would advise following that method considering his plants are trees
