Use a clear shower curtain, new car smell and you can still use the rear view mirror.

Pro-pro tip. Retired chemist/trucker with good side mirrors on the car so no need for centre rear view. :)

The wife will sew them. There are those hand grips up from an old sheet so that they can part in the middle if needed. There are those hand grips for front seat and rear so will rig a couple of short cloth coated bungies between the grips on each side with a longer one going across for the curtain to hang off of. Bit Mickey Mouse but will help keep the front temp even. Then at least in winter we can buy frozen stuff at Costco 2 hours away and it'll stay frozen in the very back until we get home.

For 6 months, my dog has been sick. My precious boy. He saved my life and I live every day for him. Thousands of dollars, so many tears, so much bloody vomit and diarrhea later and I finally have a diagnosis. Atypical hypoadrenocorticism. It's the first case my vet has ever seen. Something about the way his blood tests makes this variant difficult to detect, which led to this being a drawn out affair, and he is apparently lucky to not have had a heart attack by now. My baby boy. I love him more than anything. I tried so hard to find a breeder that screened for all the diseases and all the due diligence in the world still doesn't mean anything at all it seems. The disease has potential to worsen and he will then be on another drug to manage his symptoms which is expensive. Oh, sad to hear that. He's a beautiful doggo, it's always sad to heat our little brothers suffer. Be strong, and hopefully it will be better with time. Any chances he will overcome that?

No, it's slow failure of the adrenal organ, his body isn't producing enough cortisol and eventually it will stop all together. It's a liver function of some kind. He'll need regular stimulation testing to make sure he's doing okay and he'll be on meds for the rest of his life.

In other news I'm still working on this fuckin window.

Sorry about your pup, hope he does better and the medication isn't too expensive. My wife had to have an adrenal gland removed as it had a tumour on it. Called Conn's Syndrome when a non-cancerous tumour grows on it or so we were told. It was 12 years after the operation that we found out the tumour was found to be malignant when she was being investigated for liver problems and tumours were found in it. I got her on RSO right away as the type of cancer found in the adrenal gland tends to spread to the liver first. Worked as the tumours shrunk and many small ones disappeared. Due to SS rods in her back from childhood scoliosis she can't have an MRI but gets a special 3-D ultrasound and a CAT scan every year to monitor her liver and so far it hasn't got worse. Now it's her thyroid going wonky.

I used to dabble in leaded glass. Are you using the foil technique or lead came for that? Lot more intricate than anything I ever did.

Happy Memorial Day if you're American. We had our Victoria/Dominion Day last weekend. A non-event for us.
