Just spent an about an hour reading up on PH drops in flower. It's super common for PH to start dropping right around week 5 from I can tell.
My roots look great, using hydroguard religiously, res temp below 68F, plant is eating and drinking, buds are still fattening up... so I'm pretty sure it's not some nasty bacteria causing it to drop.
Here's what I'm thinking... Since PH commonly starts falling right when nitrogen (acid) consumption cuts off around week 5, this leads to excess N in the res and thus falling PH.
I'm going to flush tonight, add just micro, bloom and calmag, (and hydroguard, of course) and see if PH doesn't start rising again.
Really appreciate all the input from this community. I can't imagine how people could possibly grow in hydro before the internets.
P.S. My buds are now falling over. Just bought a 10 pack of yoyos.
P.P.S. I fucking love my new Sensorpush hygrometer.
