Well damn. I just broke the biggest cola being an idiot. The skin broke slightly. Taped the wound with duct tape and propped her up.

A little late for supercropping or I'd leave it at 90 degrees.

On second thought, maybe I could leave it at 90 degrees. Couldn't hurt since the damage is already done. I like the idea of blasting the side with direct light. Thoughts?

PH hasn't budged since the flush last night, so looks like too much nitrogen was indeed the reason it was dropping.

I also said fuck it and broke three more colas. We'll see how it goes...

With fat colas like that ya 70% is high. If you cant control the humidity get a good tower fan and oscillate it make sure its nearly hitting all buds..good air flow will help a lot. I'm in the same situation, 65-70% humidity at lights out.
Finally got that oscillating fan installed...

Not much growth the last few days. Should I expect the colas to fatten up any more in the last 3 weeks?

Idk that I would’ve broke them over that late in flower. Look good though
I was sceptical too. But I found at least 10 experienced growers who've supercropped this late with only good results.

Since I'm more interested in learning than yield, I figured I'd take a risk.

Question for you all.... how long do you recommended I flush, and when should i start flushing? Not sure that the prevailing wisdom is for DWC. Critical Kush supposedly finishes in 60 days, which would be 10/7. Also, when do you guys start checking for cloudy/amber trichomes? I've come this far (amazingly) and really don't want to fuck up now. :)

I patched together a few shots to show just how much plant is squeezed into this tiny tent.

I flush for 5 days once i see 10 percent amber trichs..or less..i have been trying diff methods and this seems to be the best..use a flushing nutrient with chalated nutes..and done..i have gotten waay more by waiting and giving them what they need when finishing..i did a 2 weeks flush once and my yield suffered dramatically..i have a 4 sitw rdwc with 13 gallon post . 50 gal all together . 1200 watts with 4 315 sunsystem cmh lights and i get usualy 3 lbs sometime more sometimes less..once i switched to rdwc the gam changed..i still grow perlite..by my system crushes it..same as the current culture set up..just home made..happy growing ..

Appreciate the advice. That's exactly what I'll do. :)

Yeah, I'm really digging rdwc. It appeals to the geeky engineer in me. If I had the space I might try a high pressure aeroponic setup, but definitely happy i went with dwc for my first grow.

I read somewhere that 48 hours of darkness and hitting the roots with ice water with help change leaves autumn colors, at least for strains with the genetics for it. Also supposed to boost trichome production since the plant thinks it's about to die.

Not sure how the hell I'm going to get this plant trimmed and hung when the time comes without getting caught.

I've been reading up on drying and curing. What's the point of putting buds in mason and burping? Why not just leave then hanging in a controlled environment?

DIY battery powered, auto-burping curing jars for about $60!

I've got it set to burp for 15 minutes once a day to begin with. I'll drop it down to once every few days after a week or so. I let it run for 10 hours straight and the battery back still had a charge. So it should be good for for a few months.

Looks like your getting some heat stress, also some foxtailing
You could probably hang that whole plant in your tent for a long time if you can keep the humidity and temp just right.
