Well I'm definatly not giving up that's for sure. I was just trying to find out the best time to flower that's all. I saw something that said you should induce the flower at between 9 and 15 inches. I have decided to start the dark period of 12/12 so now all that's left is to up keep with it for the next two weeks? and then see what transpires. Thanks to everyone for the info.

LOL not a clue however even males have some smokable bud plus it's only one plant so whatever I can get out of it is a bonus, hence the title rogue plant. I wouldn't care otherwise.

Ig I grabbed a garbage can and placed it over top at 9 so tomorrow when I get up at 830 I'm gonna go and remove the can so it can get it's light. The can itself is black already. Thanks for the info though

the male produces NO smokeable bud...whoever told you that didnt know what they were talking about just to let you know....some ppl use the leaves for tea thas about it on the male plant...

I think while i was doing some reading on here I read it in an article, well maybe not on RIU, but somewhere on the internet. I'm 3 days into the 12/12 and haven't seen any changes as of yet. I was wondering though what are the little spike looking things on the stem where the nodes pertrude from? Kinda looks like an upright thorn. Any information will be welcomed.

It's on the stem where the nodes pertrude but they point up not out. Kinda brownish in color like the rest of the stem.

It looks like the stem broke where the nodes came out and they have two off shoots that look like thorns but pointing up. Gah it's so frustrating not having a good camera. lol. nice picture though

your better off throwing a dark sheet over it... are you in a place where its acceptable? if not you really should move out of the front yard.... start diggin about a foot on each side around it... then stick your arms down in there and grab (GENTLY) your dirt clump... move it into a pot and then it would be ten times easier to induce flowering.... laziness gets you crappy herb... makes it not worth it...
hmm sounds like a female but if there are two tiny balls near it then its a male!
on any digital camera there is a button with a flower logo on it, press it and it will adjust to take nice close up shots!

Well I had a close friend, and pothead, come over today to look at the plant. He has grown plants before and he said something about the veins within the leaves themselves. He was like they are offset which usually means a female. Anyone have any info about that?

just that it sounds like your friend was too stoned to know what he was talkin about. Give it time, if you see pistils its a gal, and balls, kill your pal. Good luck!
